And I love that his choker looks exactly like the wound that Louis gave him. Hopefully by the time season 3 comes out we'll have an entire playlist from Lestat. On another note: Idk if anyone has suggested this yet Fabi, but I highly recommend that you look up an artist by the name of Raleigh Richie he's got some dope music here on YT as well.

In case Fabi doesn't know, "Raleigh Richie" is Jacob Anderson's musical stage name when he fronts his band. Both he and Sam Reid have lovely voices. Pity the only time we heard them sing together was a heavenly-but-brief, "Happy Birthday Toooo Yoooo" when Claudia turned 17 in S1 Ep4. My favorite KZbin music video is one with Jacob's beautiful voice put to a fan edit of the Interview series. Search "Werld Is Mine" by a creator called 'Little Dark Olive'. Can't get enough Louis and Lestat!

No real spoilers, but the book "The Vampire Lestat" deals with Lestat's desire to become even more seen and heard by becoming a rock star. I recommend "Interview With The Vampire" "The Vampire Lestat" and "The Queen of the Damned" to quench your vampire thirst if you really like this series! It will open new doors and answer questions that were teased in the show! I haven't read the novels past these 3, but this amazing show makes me want to take up reading again! Great reaction Fabi!!

If it's based on Vampire Lestat book then we will see him as a rock star, but also his youth in 18th century France. He mantioned his mother in season 1. I guess we will see him becoming a vampire. Maybe we will meet Marius and Queen Akasha. Definately will be his and Armand's Paris story through Lestat's eyes.

They haven't filmed yet. The team is in San Diego at ComicCon right now. They are not discussing Season 3 because they writers are still working on the season.

So, this caused me to get me emotional when I saw this for the first time yesterday. Since 2008, I've spent countless eons dreaming of this happening and to see it... Pure validation for my hyper fixation. To answer some of your questions: the first guy is probably a band member that stands in for Lestat whenever they interview him. In terms of the framework for the series, the idea of Lestat being interviewed instead of him just writing everything will make things interesting. Wonder how he will feel about that in the long run. As for Louis, he will be in this due to the framework extending and prolonging his tour as compared to the novel. Last thing: the film was 94. P.S. We got the trailer for Mayfair season two and it does feature some actual connective tissue to Interview. Now is the best time to get caught up.

I love the idea of getting Lestat's idea of what Louis is and was like for him, which is why I loved the books. I know this series holds so much love and devotion from the fans! I've been in love with it since I was a teenager. I'm now in my 50s!

I agree... Sam makes a MUCH better Lestat than Tom Cruise... He was horrible. Now, Brad Pitt as Louis?!?!? That's the ultimate actor for that role. Pitt was literally perfectly "Louis" from the books; his attitude, his demeanor, his eyes, his hair....I could go on and on about how he suits the role of Louis so well. But neither this series nor the 94 movie did justice for Armand: basically an adolescent, long auburn hair, angelic face. Who would have played HIM perfectly??? No idea... But you definitely need to watch Queen of the Damned!!
