I normally will give a phone call and then I have a 10 day grace period after that if payment hasn't been received I stop service until further notice for the customer

i work with a customer on payment sometimes.. i only had one bad experience with a no pay but that's it.. i take it one situation at a time and as of late it has been working for me..

if they don't pay after a good attempt then i will let them go until they paid and then from then on it is pre pay

One guy owes me $80. He’s always late. I’ve never charged a late fee but I’m not going back out there for service until I’m paid. This guy has went through about 6 lawn guys in 5 years. He told me this himself. He wants to talk 20 mins each service about what he would like done but all he is doing is wasting time. I didn’t need this guy but I wanted to be in that neighborhood. He literally has the worst yard in the neighborhood. Next year is a no go for me and that property.
