Yes, they wouldn’t do it if they weren’t comfortable with you, but they are still treating you like a salt lick. They don’t even lick other rabbits for affection!

Prey species have eyes on the side in order to see predators in a larger view. This is true of deer and cows, which are good examples. From my understanding, their brains merge those two visuals into one cohesive image. It's similar to how our brains block the image of our nose, despite how we're always looking at it 😅
