Funny enough that's very similar to a game we play with new rock climbers learning to lead belay and get used to falling on lead (which is above your last protection so you take big falls and can mess with your head game) It's called Bang. Amazing video once again! I suggest enhancing the Heat Map by transitioning the color from red to green either at the conclusion of each episode or when you reach a specific Combat Level. This change could signify reaching a point where you no longer need to concern yourself with specific monsters in an area. I'm gonna super-second this. I can't memorize splotches like that, it's just visual noise to my brain. Having a visual way to see when enemies have fallen off the heatmap, whether that's watching them disappear, a before-and-after image, or outleveled enemies turning green, would be a huge quality of life improvement for the audience, especially since many don't themselves play Runescape and can't recognize these areas on sight.

There was another way to do the Thieving without any risk at all, you could do X marks the spot for the free exp lamp, the client of kourend if you can navigate the NPC's safely for the additional lamps, then use them on Thieving and move to the varrock tea stall for exp without risk of damage, moving to cake stalls if wanting a better rate after that. Failing that, when looking into the viability of that there was also tower of life, could do daddy's home mini quest get to 10 construction, then do tower of life for 500exp to get to 5 thieving then back to stalls for safer exp gain without risk of damage. May also unlock a tedious but doable money maker of buying and selling silk :)

The update to Fight Arena was done because it was an old quest that is a prerequisite for Secrets of the North/DT2. Jagex did something similar with Underground Pass when they released Song of the Elves, as well as Contact! when they released Beneath Cursed Sands. So unfortunately you can't rely on old quest walk-through videos for those quests.

not that settled is going back to railings, but I was curious so I did some optimizing: After getting 2 railings fixed, do the murder mystery quest for level 11 crafting. Then after 4 railings fixed, get level 28 crafting. Then after 5 railings fixed, get level 36 crafting (doesn't matter too much). The idea is that it takes a certain amount of time to reach a threshold (for example, getting to 2 railings takes about 100 minutes on average), so then it's worth getting a bit of a higher crafting level. It's like 40% more efficient than a strategy of not getting any crafting levels at all. But it's still absolutely hellish, requiring about 43 hours of gameplay on average, and a lot more murder mystery. anyway I'm so shocked at how settled bounced back, truly inspiring courage!

watching that death to the scorpion was hard to watch, the frame that I saw it I knew what was coming his way. I don't know how you do it Settled, you're a totally insane man, I would've given up so long ago. You truly are an absolute beast of a OSRS gamer. I thought Swampletics accidental death was bad, this mode takes it to the next level and upon each death it feels so upsetting to see it happen. Its so much grinding that I don't think any more than a 100 people will try this challenge and only a dozen or so will genuinely complete this challenge without giving up out of frustration because of the meticulous testing, skill required, insane calculated movements and tedious gameplay. Keep it up Settled! I cant wait until you complete your first goal, the second and third will be even more hype, I cant wait to see where this series ends up going, don't give up we all believe you can do this cause you're just that insane of a OSRS player, definitely one of the best players out there, your achievements and challenges are nothing to scoff at, they are huge unimaginable achievements that so many people doubted you could complete just to show them whos boss.

He showed the boss page and all I can think of is possibly him doing Crazy Archeologist for Rune Crossbow... Pretty sure with protect from range you can take 0 damage if you dodge the one attack. Or he showed the boss page to trick everyone which is entirely possible lol.

The 100 hour rule seems designed to wrap the series up pretty quickly. It was an interesting premise and I am excited to see what project you will work on next.

Nah it's so that people are invested in his progress and don't think he's just going to keep resetting. I'm sure he intends to complete his 3 tiers of goals with whatever account makes it to 100 hours. Whether or not he's actually able to is another question.

100 hour rule is definitely low. Means if he plays 8 hours a day, after just two weeks of account progression if he dies hes done. His first fire cape attempt could easily start after this 100 hour mark and so then if he dies hes just going to stop the series? So again seems short to me.

You could use that plugin that the Yanille chunk guy has where it prevents magic spells from dragging him forward when he attacks, might help you safespot Kalphites without accidentally running in.

I'm guessing your plan to complete Dwarf Cannon involves animation stalling? I'm not sure how you'd use animation stalls to nullify damage but that's the only thing I can think of at the moment.

There is a method to kill the golem with mining, no combat required. Mine all 4 pillars, kills the golem. @@bibabubobe

Coincidence lead to this one being an extra roller coaster for me. I needed to pause the video halfway through to deal with something and paused it right during the scorpion story. I thought to myself "Oh, this sounds bad. I might come back to him dying. How much time is left in the video anyway? Oh! We're only halfway in. He's just playing up the danger for dramatic effect." then I went to take care of what I needed to, come back and "...Oh. He actually died."

YOU CAN TRAIN ALL MELEES WITH NO SKILL REQS AND NO RISK OF DAMAGE! I'm sure everyone has experienced the imp that doesn't fight back, but south of the tree gnome village maze there is a spot that can stack up to 4 non retaliating imps in the area at a time. All imps that get caught there, west of the watchtower wall and south of the maze, do not fight back. Ever. I've been running a chunk account out of that chunk and killed nearly 1k without ever taking a single point of damage from them. Even just half an hour hopping worlds there would sky rocket your combat level and really take down some of the danger of that heat map.

With the release of Secrets of the north, the fight arena and Hazeel cult quest got altered. Hazeel quest changed a lot more than fight arena, but that little change was enough
