Daaaamn, these comments are beautiful. I might be wrong, but it feels like quite a lot of us had aligned slumps and are now looking to bloom a radical vibeshift... not sure if it's a wider macro thing (world borders opening up after years of being closed) or end of the year thing, or something online, or something else... but it's fascinating! (Curious if anyone has thoughts on why this might be, if it does be) Thanks everyone for (yet again) your ridiculously lovely words. Fr. cam xoxo

The tumult of the last few years I think kept a lot of us feeling not quite psychologically secure enough to reach far beyond our grasps. Now, especially in this new year, we are finally, finally ready to run, jump, and dance for the first time since 2020, perhaps more so for having inhabited the opposite vibe for SO long (I really, really believe that the psychological impacts have and will continue to linger way longer than people expect.) Whatever the reason, I just want to wear joltingly bright colors and strut around this big, beautiful world while I can. Much love to ya ✌️

I feel exactly the same way too. And personally for me, I think it’s because I’ve become too comfortable indoors just waiting for things to happen to me instead of going out there and making myself happen. For years, we’ve had to wait the pandemic out. You know that sense of comfortable so far down it becomes uncomfortable? It like my skin is itching and my insides are twirling… just waiting and waiting for too long and now it’s just about ready to burst! Anyways, I’m so freaking excited for this new era. I think this is an awesome idea and it really inspires me to one of these of my own! If you need any ideas as to what to put on your bucket list, I’ve desire in me to cross the South African border by foot. I live in Cape Town which is the southern tip of South Africa and I want to go all the way north to cross that border by foot, since I’ve actually never been out of South Africa before, but I’m tired of waiting for a plain to just magically take me out of the country😂😂😂 maybe you could do something similar in Australia? All the best Cam💕💕 thank you so much for all you do for us (I don’t think you realise) 🤗🤗

A year ago ago I found your channel at the lowest point in my life. I felt like I had lost everything I cared about and had given up. I was content to drink the rest of it away. One year after finding your channel and I am mostly sober, moved 1500 miles away on my own. I'm journalling and have the courage to be creative for the first time in years. I wake up with a desire to be more and I have to give a great deal of credit to your unique and forgiving outlook on health and creativity. I LOVED your book. I watch and rewatch your videos regularly. They make me feel like I'm not alone and give me hope, keep me focused. You feel genuine and honest, where most self help content out there feels hollow and degrading. A complete stranger shared their experience and love on the internet and it made a world of difference. Wherever you take this channel, I'm sure to be here. Thank you for being unabashedly you.

Hell fcking yeah on sobriety man! I got into his channel at my lowest point too. I now have a therapist and journal. I wasn’t dealing with addiction, but I have severe anxiety and ptsd and it’s impacted much of my life for years. Wow. Believe me when I say that I've been phoning with my therapist and my mom about pretty much the same issue today. I'm at a point right now where I've overcome my big evils and roadblocks. I finally found a place to live after years of not knowing where I'll be next month, I grew confidence in setting boundaries and seeing my selfworth like I've never seen it before and I'm currently working towards amazing job opportunities. It feels like the time of overcoming and fighting is done and I need to focus on keeping this up and enjoy this state of being. Everything is going good now and I feel really strange about it because I don't know how life works when there are no big bads to fight. Hearing about the things on your bucket list made me really happy, because I could also do that now! As soon as I'm comfortably moved in into my flat, I should make a new list of things I want to reach! I already started a typical 'What would I do if I couldn't fail' list and it revealed some things that have been repressed in my mind, simply because my mental health and my constant uncertain living situation stopped me. I got used to that and it become my comfortable norm. I still can't believe how fitting your video is to my current state and I'm really thankful for it! I'm sticking by your channel because you have already helped me out so much and your vibe and personality is just inspiring and I can't find a good word for it in english but in german I'd say you're 'mitreißend', which basically means that you're able to emotionally pull someone in because your vibe is so contagious :D Keep up the good work no matter what you decide to do, I'll be excited for it :)

I couldn't be more happy now that I am about to finish my first year of this education and am living my life to the fullest! I know that wherever you take this channel will be just as wonderfully you and I'm excited for the journey ahead, even more so because your excitement about it is beautifully contagious! I think a lot of us have transitioned beyond despair. Everything had been shit for so long that it just FEELS like it's a time for something new. All the grief, mourning, and fear of the past couple of years is too much, and we're kind of over it. A lot of us spent 2020-2022 finally grappling with our mental health, and we're ready to LIVE. Not how we're supposed to or how we're told to, but how we WANT to. The slump, I think, comes from not knowing how, but desperately NEEDING to DO.

i saw the post but didn't have a chance to comment last night. but what i wanted to say is that your channel is one of the few i most look forward to, and it's not just because of the self improvement content. it's bc your outlook is so optimistic, your tone and style are so unique, and your videos help me feel seen, heard, and they make me, i hope, a better me. the only advice i can offer you is what i imagine you would say to any of us. if making videos makes your life better, please keep making them (bc it makes all of ours better too!), but if the fire is gone, we can't hold you hostage here demanding content for content's sake. if you pivot, maybe you'll lose some subs, but you'll always have some dedicated audience, myself included. so you have to do what will make you feel like you're growing and moving where you need to be! selfishly, i hope you keep making videos. but you have to do what is right for you and your family first. 💜 whatever you choose, thank you for all you've said and done, for all the advice and inspiration, and for being such a bright light in this world

I'm not much of a comment-writer, but I really wanted to let you know, that your channel helped me so much. I struggled hard with my bipolar disorder when I first discovered you. I worked boring jobs while sitting on depts, thinking i had ran myself into a dead end somehow. But when I found your Videos (the feeling behind in life video to be exact haha) it started something in me. I learned to be grateful and optimistic, sorted my head out and slowly pulled myself out of the dark place I put myself in. Journaling and your advise really helped me to move on, believing in me while not beating myself up over every little thing. I got my life sort of together now (I'm not yet where I want to be, but I know I can get there), got so insanely mentaly stable and will start university this year, studying to become a teacher. Your videos and your book (that has a special place in my shelf haha) gave so much to me and I just wanted to say THANK YOU! I am so thrilled for the new direction your channel is heading. Much love from Germany ❤

One thing i've learned in the past year, (and you helped a lot with that) is that you should always try and keep that fire alive. Whatever it takes, I think its what you have to do. I decided to compete in a triathlon even tho I was super out of shape for my entire life and diabetic, and although im not there YET, I can run 10km in a decent time, swim 1.5km in a decent time and lets not talk about my cycling (im working on it). If I want to set myself up well and really make something with this degree, I need to make some changes - now. I’ve come a long way on my recovery journey, but the next stage of healing is to get back out there and really reengage with my passions. I’ve been a bit too shy to declare the whole ‘this is gonna be my year’ mentality (last time I said that was 2020 🤦‍♀️) but in this, I feel confident: 2023 is the year of the Level-Up Bucket List.

Sooooooo... while you’re drafting up this Level Up Bucket List could you possibly put “Collaborate with Beau Miles” on there? Perhaps you could give him a slick bean tattoo as you ran together?

Hey Cam, as an Aussie who watches all these productivity / life improvement stuff, you are so incredibly refreshing. It’s great to hear our accent and the very aus approach to this stuff - ‘fuck it, I’m in!’ - you’re unique in a sea with lots of sameness so you gotta keep making content! I’ll listen to anything you’d like to talk about! This bucket list, mate - that’s fucking awesome and I’m looking forward to following your journey!

i never EVER comment on youtube videos... but that is testament to how much your videos have resonated with me and how much you truly changed my life. a year ago now, my whole world turned upside down and i went through an extremely rough patch of my life (still working on it) everything about your ideas, your delivery, practical suggestions and guidance, helped me beyond words. i'm in a farrrrr better place now, although still developing of course... but i genuinely believe a big part of that is down to you and the wisdom you offer in your videos. you probably won't see this, but if you do i felt it necessary to say - thank you! i'm excited to see where you go next :)

I recently found you through your last video when the algorithm put you in my feed after watching the video that inspired you to make it a couple days before! And over the weekend I've been binging your videos and trying to get myself back in line with what I value as a person so I can get myself out of this comfortable slump I'm in. I value your content because you take the time and effort to get real and you've given tips that I've started implementing in my life and I can already feel a shift, so I find it funny that you're also feeling the "need to change" in the atmosphere haha! I can't wait to see how this new journey of yours unfolds and you've since earned a sub that'll be with you all the steps ahead! Keep being awesome, Cam!
