As an American watcher and someone who is VERY interested in a writing workshop from you, I can’t help but think a video zoom course would be fantastic. Especially if you were able to trim it down later and offer it as a “do it in your own time” format for those who are unable to make the zoom calls/if the zoom calls have a student limit on them. Personally, the more in depth the better for when I’m trying to learn something. So a longer multiple week/month course sounds delightful. I’m a huge, huge fan and cannot wait to read your next book! Selfishly, I would want it to be online, since I live in Belgium. I think a longer course would be the most useful, to allow for enough time to learn and grow. Congrats!! That's so cool! fellow scandi author here, and I'm going to answer your question about a writing craft course! First, I would most likely sign up anyway, as I've been a follower since before you got eyebrows. But I think I would prefer it if I knew more about what I was signing up for beforehand, especially since I already have a writing routine that works pretty well for me, and there are so many writing workshops out there. So including some writing videos on this channel would perhaps work well as introductions and teasers, before we decide to actually sign up for something! As for the course itself I hope it's not in London (as I live in Oslo) but it would be nice if there were some sort of community feeling. Maybe a video course, that people can watch in their own time, and a discussion group on discord or something, or even video discussions now and then. But again, I think I would like to know more about the course and who it is for, because that affect who the community group will be. Are they all beginners? Are they lifelong writers who want to brainstorm? Are they published/looking to get published? All this would effect whether I think I would get something from it or not. So yeah, making a few open writing videos on the channel would help suggest what kind of stuff the course would be about, and who we might meet in the discussions! Long comment here, sorry, but if you were to make some writing videos, I do wonder what it's like writing in your second language, so hopefully you can include something about that as well. Congratulations on another book deal! I hope it does better than the last even!! Sounds like a dramatic story. I am glad you have built her story for a long time in your head. It is good you wrote your lead character so well that editors and more have fallen for her too. Again, I don't read books that have sexual scenes in it. . I have but I'd rather build that portion in my head rather than have it spelled out for me (the mystery of it rather than the description of it - kinda like how Jane Austen builds up ideas in my head and it takes a hold of me type of thing - I hope that makes sense). The rest of it sounds like something I'd definitely read though. That's cool you wrote this book a few years ago already.
