I NEVER did THIS before! - Cycling Hamburg!

Another training ride from Germany this time in Hamburg. Martin arranged a nice bike for me and took me out to show ''Alten land'' for some training. This is the biggest fruit plantation area in northern Europe. About halfway in the ride..... unfortunately I had to leave him behind and meet him back at his bike shop Velopunkt.

Had my first puncture in two years on Monday. Of course you know what this means for the 12 months. Nothing but punctures. I love Hamburg, had the best sushi of my life there. Next time I go I'll have to get a Freiden Brücken.

Wish we have such a nice bike shop in Singapore. I think the only way to ride with you is to just sit on your wheel 😜. I believe I will still be dropped by you after 20km. Anyway always enjoy your video. 👍👍

Had my first flat in 5 years today only 10km into the ride. Only had 1 spare tire with me so did the calculation: Go home immediatly or take the risk and do another 50km. Chose the later. All went well.

@@martinkent333 traffic laws on bike no but i hardly ride on the road mtb only maybe a km to get to dirt and i ride on the dirt facing oncomming traffic aussie drivers hate cyclist and go out of there way to get you . Yes i have time to chat .

@@martinkent333 hey mate dont understand alot about whats your talking about but as far as australian drivers go. I' 51 yo and have been cycling and mountain biking for 40 years and have travelled all over aus and the attitude of drivers varies from state to state the worst state to be a roadie in would be south aus every ride i would be yelled at, abused, bottles thrown at me cars playing chicken ie pretending to run you down then swerving at the last minute. Victoria were i grew up as a kid wasnt as bad the area was pretty popular with roadies nice mountain roads and the local drivers alot probably riders them selves were good but i am not exageratting when i say i never had a ride were i didnt have to take evassive action or be run down or pushed of the road i even had a police car fail to give way and pull out on me while i,m in full fluro lycra doing aprox 60kph. In the end i gave up road riding as its just to easy to be dead or paralised the mountain bike is way safer . Its not just hoon young guys being dicks its doctors mothers just dopey people that dont care . I always said to get a drivers for a car one must spend a year on the road as a cyclist then a year as a motorcyclist then they can drive a car then maybe things would be bettter. The strange thing with aussies is they really hate fitt people and love fat zombies that just drink and watch the footy. Let me know if you want to know more .

Welcome to my home turf... however... you missed the best route... no stupid stoping when you ride with me ;-) ... kidding... next time I´ll organize a BIG group ride...
