You can buy a sand filter/pump for a pool for $100. The selector valve allows you to back wash it. Collect rainwater from your roof into 55 Gallon drums and use the pool filter pump to move the water to your pool.

AFM instead of sand is even better. You can backflush at lower flows and it is more effective at collecting bacteria etc.

Adding ozone as well will kill bugs… add it at stage 1. Ozone generators can be purchased very inexpensively.
@HolicCreation9 күн бұрын
Yes, ozone can effectively kill bacteria and other microorganisms. Adding an ozone generator at the initial stage of your water filtration system could be an efficient way to ensure cleaner water. These generators are available at a reasonable cost and could enhance the overall purification process by eliminating contaminants. Have you considered incorporating an ozone system alongside other methods like UV-C light or filtration for more comprehensive water treatment?

Buy filtration systems, the true way to go. This guy spent the price for one, not to mention the time he put into it, and it's not guaranteed to clean the water like the pro ones. Cleaning it is another big huge issue! In Mexico we order a pipe of purified water which they fill up out ROTOPLAS for $30 t0 $60 U.S. dlls depending on the size of your tank. Lasts about a month or two depending on where, how and what you use it for. Restaurants, tortilla shops, schools and now home owners are buying it, but now we are buying filtration systems too on top our purified water already. Double the cleaness and security for our loved ones. You'll never get free clean water for ever with this videos filtration hack. Don't waste your time and money. Buy some water bottles instead with it. 😅😅😅😂😂😂😂 lol!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! 😊 I totally understand your point of view about investing in a professional filtration system. While DIY filtration systems may not be as effective as professional products, they can still help improve water quality and save money in many situations. However, if you are looking for maximum safety and convenience, combining both home water filtration and store-bought purified water is a great way to protect your family's health. Each solution has its own pros and cons, and the key is to choose the solution that best suits your needs and budget. 😄💧 Do you have any favorite water filtration tips or products? beginers will not under stand how that 'pump' will work Especially if you dont show turning the tap off in sequence after priming it . and 45 degree angles to each barrel is ill effective and more expensive then a 'sloped' pipe on 45 degree to next barrel and less 'drag' on the water
@HolicCreationАй бұрын
It's true that beginners may struggle with understanding how the 'pump' works, especially if the sequence of priming and turning off the tap isn't clearly shown. Demonstrating the process step by step, with visual cues, could make it much easier to grasp. As for the 45-degree angles, they can increase material costs and reduce efficiency. Using a sloped pipe to connect barrels would offer less resistance (or drag) and be more cost-effective while maintaining good water flow. Have you considered trying a simpler setup with fewer angles?

Hola! ¡Saludos!

@@HolicCreation I would just buy a used hot tub or something. This filtration system in this clip would do about a 7-10 thousand gallon set-up for sure. Just not suited to purify water. All these filters do is filter sediment and has bio-filters. Won’t filter out viruses or harmful bacteria. However, water that is ran though this would be much easier to filter and make the micron filters last much much longer.

Because we only remove trash and dirt, the reasons why the swimming pool does not look green, if we add the things you mentioned, it will be very clean but the filter flow is very small.
