Underrated part of Mike's game is that he was, quite literally, NEVER bad. The most consistent athlete maybe ever? In his 13 years with the Bulls MJ scored 10 or fewer points twice. That's 2 games out of 930. One of those games was coming back from the broken foot, the other was a blowout win against the Hawks in '97 where he played 3 quarters. He only scored under 20 pts in a playoff game 6 times and 3 of those were blowout wins when he didn't play the whole game. If you look at his game logs on Basketball Ref it's stupid.

Fun fact about Harold Minor/Michael Jordan: One of the sets of basketball cards I used to collect when I was a little boy had Harold Minor's rookie card (I think it was 1994 Upper Deck). On that rookie card, they had a picture of Minor in the background shooting a Jordan-esque fade away over the player in the foreground guarding him... Michael Jordan. There was a time when that card was the second most valuable card in the main set simply because it had Michael Jordan on the card. That was how much we all loved MJ. He was so good that when Iverson crossed him up and made him look uh, human for ONE play, that was the biggest news story in the NBA for a whole week.

@jmsa27608 ай бұрын
I get the similarity between Ant and MJ, but there is a big difference: exuberance. Ant is exuberant, he boils over, brings in a huge energy, talks trash as if he's on a street court. MJ did not do that. His energy was channeled into his game, destroying his opponents and winning the games. He was expressive and showed his confidence, but with Ant you think "Yeah, he's up for it, he ballin'!" with a fist pump. With MJ it was more like "He's in the zone, they are screwed" and then you just give a resigned shrug/smile combo. The energy is different. With Ant, as an opponent, it is "Here he comes" while getting ready. With MJ it was "Here I go..." while thinking about shower. Ant is amazing, but the mentality is what is missing. MJ was never just about his skills. It was his mentality. It is what made him unique, his decision to bend a game, a series and a championship to his will. Ant does not have that yet. Maybe will not have it to the same extent (Lebron and Kobe didn't). Let's just appreciate Ant for who he is. He is fun. Leave it at that.

I say this with all good intention. You make great videos about basketball and I love watching and have for a long time. I do however hope you are very in touch with your audience in terms of average age of your viewers. With no numbers to back it up I would assume it is mostly young males. The damage being done by the over advertising of these sports betting companies is absolutely insurmountable and infinite. It’s like if they started advertising crack on street poles in areas with large amounts of homeless people. It’s sickening to really look at the impact this is having right now and going to have on the next generation. I hope you see this and put some thought into what money drives you to do. Legal or illegal, paid well or poorly; addiction is what is being advertised.

I think it's a decent way to tell who is a good person (wouldn't do ads for shitty companies etc) and which "influencers" are on the precipice (or completely there) of sociopathic behaviours. Everybody and anybody doing it either isn't aware or they're a bag of shit (or both) as far as I'm concerned. But also 'Muricah. Gotta mke that coin boyyyyy, fuck everyone else.. Right..?

I don't see you talk about the jump shot, we all love how amazing Jordan's air time is, we don't call him "HIS AIRNESS" for no reason, but in my opinion it is Jordan's ability to tie together the athleticism to the fundamentals that makes him great, and the most powerful weapon in that arsenal is his jump shot, and AE has such a similar jump shot, and most importantly, everything that they do leading to that jump shot.
