He can't afford to act like a badass anymore. He can't back up his negative threats anymore with his fists because he's well past his peak so he now has to co operate with what society expects him to say to maintain his likeability as a sports icon. Plus, he's now an old man so he's probably matured a lot since he was a young guy at his fighting peak.

I think if Tyson was permitted a proper defence, which would include questioning the character of Ms. Washington, he would have been found not guilty Aside from that, minor things that make me think he didn't do it like admitting to all kinds of other horrible crimes but maintains his innocence about this. His attitude changed when he figured out his daughter didn't wanna date a black man, Mike took that to heart and made serious changes. He has had an incredible character arc over his lifetime. All the madness and all the badness don't outweigh how much of an inspiration he is.

Mike Tyson is so real and very respectful too. I love his answers. He does not feel the need to pull these younger ones down to talk about himself. He knows who he is and he knows the amount of work it takes to do this. He respects the street brag as well.

@@dallaswood4117 I think there were times that he was probably a pretty bad person. Considering his upbringing, one can understand that; Not condone it ever but I'm not talking about the "rape case." I can see That, being a gold digging ploy by a real dark and low person. I don't know the real truth but I think Mike Tyson deserves more scrutiny around that case! I I hope I gain as much wisdom and insight with age as he has, but again I don't really know him I just I've always felt like I can relate to his intense emotions. I didn't experience the horrendous upbringing that he did. So I try not to judge in that way.

Wilder said he would beat a prime Mike Tyson... Mike once said "everybody has a plan until they get punched in the face". Wilder, got "punched in the face" by a man who ironically, is named after Mike. Tyson Fury gifted Wilder his first loss / slice of humility. That ladies and gentlemen is known as poetic justice.
