I normally create neutrals and minimal paintings. That is where I am comfortable. BUT, I just felt color as the summer rolls in. I hope you are kind in your comments!!!

The video coming out this next week is actually a funny one because it starts out with a lot of color and I ended up just smearing the whole thing and ending up with my style, which I ended up feeling very good about.

I just love your colourful paintings Cheryl these are absolutely beautiful, and I especially like the addition of the black and the stencil with spray paint, as well as the glazing with the Quinn acridone magenta!

Well done ❤ it's always a great idea to create something different. Whether you do that again, or maybe not for a while, it just seems to clear out the cobwebs and propel you in your work/life 🎉

Thank you! 😊 So true. I used to do a lot of color, but so love neutrals. I occasionally get a commission to do a floral, so you are right, clearing out those cobwebs is so important!!!

Great video Cheryl, i struggle with colours, but im trying to use them more, these are lovely and yes adding the stencils and black has made a lot of difference ❤

i just feel for me, I love the neutrals and it fits my home and tend to go that direction. There are times people ask for a painting with color, so I pull out all my colors once in a while. I wish you much success in your color journey!!!
