Her clothes look clean, skin looks pretty clear with no sores that I see, her feet look decently washed, nails trimmed and she has pierced ears. Other than lacking meat on her bones she does look like she is taken care of. Just keep an eye out for her meeting her mom then you can get an idea of who to talk with or approach. Where is the lottery office or whatever place they get tickets from you could also keep an eye on that location to see who buys and where they head to sell them. We know going as far back as Linh and the others you first started helping that you don't give up, even when you have to travel far to help. Perhaps one day you will have enough support to open schools for them that are fee free, offer medical help as well as food and clothing for families! People don't deserve to lag behind the rest of society, you are helping influence the change one child at a time!!

you need a business card with your youtube on it, so people can check out what you do. the girl is just scared that you might hurt her or her mom. her mom probably told her not to talk to you again. she probably raised her to not trust anyone, or accept anything from strangers, which is a good thing. if you see her again, give her like 50 bucks or so, and your business card. but she might throw it away, because she doesnt want her mom to get angry for talking to you again. its a difficult situation, and showing her that you recorded her might have freaked her out even more.

That girl seems a bit odd. Maybe she doesn’t have a mom? She seems afraid to let you know anything about her. Definitely something strange about that deal. Of course she wouldn’t want him to take her anywhere etc but she would normally be willing to have her mom come to a public place to get help from him. As others have mentioned, she probably was taught not to converse with strangers under any circumstance. Also, it's possible that someone tried to abduct or rob her in the past. It's sad, since she is a hard worker and could really use your help. Another possibility is that her mother might have an abusive husband or boyfriend.

Man I started to cry like a baby when you were telling her most kids are( and should) be at playing at the park and she's forced to work in the dirty streets. Really messed my head up as I have a 9 yr old daughter. She is blessed w x box .. I phone... No wrry of food or shelter. and here's a kid her age working for God knows how little. It really is sad the things we take for granted. My parents immigrated to the US during the Vietnam war and went through so many atrocities to givs us a better life here. This really puts things into perspective as I could have very well had a childhood like her's. God bless these kids.

Don't give up on this case just yet. I don't think she can grasp the situation correctly. She learned how to sell tickets, but she doesn't have the life experience yet to gauge this strange guy's dubious offer for help. If she is stand-offish, that's a good thing, it can be a survival skill. I'd rather her be stand-offish than gullible, out there on the streets. What a shame that little kids are subjected to such a "work environment", noisy, and their noses are right above the exhaust pipes. I don't think the masks help that much, be it against a virus or against respirable dust. You'd need a hospital-grade FFP3-class respirator mask with a filter and a tight seal to actually have some protection. And then change it every day. Oh well. Hope you can better their lives somehow. Greatly enjoying your videos, even though sometimes i would like to know what was actually said, but i'll take your subtitles too, you definitely have a comedic gift :)

I don't think she necessarily wants a quick fix. The poor can still be incredibly proud and determined not to accept charity. She probably thinks her mom would be angry at her for accepting help from a stranger. I remember trying to explain to new trainee aid workers that the food the families they were staying with gave them was several days normal rations, but that it would hurt the families immeasurably if they refused the amazing hospitality of the poor. So it was up to us to try and find 'creative' ways of restocking their larders. I have often found the poorest people are some of the most generous.

It's not forcing it's slowly building trust. Have you ever watched hope for paws? I don't compare humans to dogs here i just want to say the dog will fight and even bite an run away because it's an instinct that basically kept him alive. Sometimes you have to trick them to the point where there have no chance then getting to know you better. You could be a human trafficer of something else. Sure this girl is not in Coop mode, but when you said 13:56 some that doesn't need the help it broke my heart, you know she needs the help, you saw how skinny she was. Troy, I think you did all you could. From watching her action and the way she talks, looking around, not maintaining eye contact. May be someone forces her to sell a certain number of tickets per day, judging by the fact that she just wants to sell the tickets. She keeps saying mum is selling tickets in the morning further down the road but didn't tell you exactly where. After a while, she said I will try to talk to mum again tonight. But didn't tell you to meet her back the next day. It appears to me that she is hiding something. I don't know, just by listening to what she she says and her body language.
