I love this. I still use an analogue camera. It's kind of expensive, but I love the fact the pictures focus on the story or memory instead of the beauty. I love getting my roll developed about every 6 months. Most of the time I don't even remember what I took pictures of, so it's a really cool memory surprise when I do get them in.

I think one of the special things with a disposable camera is once you see the pictures they are tangible unlike scrolling through pics on your phone.
@SuperMustache5553 жыл бұрын
Absolutely loved the video. Feels like you captured the fun times you had perfectly, and also captured the allure of disposables. The way you integrated the pictures into the content was just perfect. Didn’t detract from the story, just the perfect addition. The entire video just looked so beautiful and breathtaking. And the music choice... perfection!

The photos the cameras took give a very nostalgic feeling. I used to have an analog camera my dad bought in the 90's. It put out the same types of photos. I learnt all the basics of photography on that camera, and also we took some really nice photos on the most memorable vacation of mine ever. It was stolen on that vacation's last day, but fortunately we already had the film out, and all that was lost was a couple of night shots I attempted (which unsurprisingly were completely black). I do really miss that camera, but since I haven't ever found another one like it after that, this video reminded me of it after I guess a few years. Enjoyed the video.

You can do a 'film camera challenge' with a digital camera. Find an old digital camera, age isn't important. Pick a small memory card, the smaller the better! Set your ISO speed to a fixed value. Turn off the review after taking a photo setting. Take 24-36 shots. Don't download the photos for a week, then you aren't allowed to edit the photos in any way. Take the memory card to a print shop and get them to print off your photos. It's fun to do.

I like your comment that using a disposable film camera can make you live under the present and capture the honest moment! and that's actually why I personally love film photography. I wish that when I get into university, I can try something similar as you to record down all the precious memories of me and my friends You really deserve much more!

Question: do u need to buy film for Ilford Ilfocolor Rapid Retro Single Use Camera 27 exp in order to take photos? Sorry ive never used a disposable camera before. What film do i need for this type of disposable camera??
@the.bry.guy82083 жыл бұрын
Ironic how it's a 30 day only disposable camera challenge when they film it all on what I'm guessing to be not a disposable camera. But I do agree slowing life down every once in a while it's never a bad thing. Great video 👍

this is an awesome video. i got into film photography in may, just before my wife and i went to greece for a week. shooting film is a blast. you should consider ditching the disposable cameras and use a reloadable film camera instead, so you're not going through so much plastic waste.

With my Mirrorless camera I usually only take a few photo's anytime I go out, maybe take like 2-3 of the same subject. I'm mostly just too lazy to sort through so many of the same photo to find "the nice one" I feel like I'd be at home using a disposable camera, It would be just like when I was a kid again this time with the knowledge of the rule of thirds and general composition.

I feel like a lot of older people say that this generation spends too much time on their phone, and a lot of them complain that we don't "live in the moment" when it comes to making memories. But I think having the ability to have such an easy way to capture any moment, on your phone, with one click is amazing. And I don't think there's anything wrong with trying to find that perfect picture, sorting through so many images of the same thing, just to end up keeping one and deleting the rest- In fact, I think it's great that we have this ability to make our moments so perfect in our eyes, and it just makes them better. That's not to say that I don't think that some moments are worth it to keep it in your head and your head alone, not on instagram or twitter, those types of memories are the true special one. Anyways, awesome video like always! You're incredibly underrated and I'm glad to have been here since 50k subs, you give us the most wonderful and wholesome comic and I love you for that
