One device for wrist hinge i own and like is the Pro SendR. Its really simple. I think its a bit expensive for what it is but after using it couple times and hiting those pure shots im pretty happy i got it.

Great explanation and review. These capabilities are available with the Core including the putting you were doing at the end of the video? For $300 it makes sense but at over $500 that's getting a bit spendy...Love your reviews including the Maltby stuff!

I really want one but this will handle drag me more i believe. I'm trying to let everything out early now but not trying to flip of course. I concentrated so hard on compression it was really hard for me to release the club. I do really want to try it though.

That's really neat Gabe. Couple of questions: 161 8i is pretty good for a mere mortal, what's the loft on that club? Looks like a PXG, so maybe 32? How does the Hack Motion know what the top and impact is? Do you have to combine it with a launch monitor or camera or something? Your studio and club collection is amazing!

Yes def a HUGE improvement. These are my Edel irons and that 8 iron loft is 36°. As for top, it must sense the transition and it def senses the vibration on impact.

Nice review Gabe. I have seen a number of other channels also reviewing the updated Hack Motion. I think it would be very useful but might have to wait a little bit as I have upgraded a number of Woods/Hybrids recently. When I get around to purchase I'll definitely use your code. I've been on the fence about buying a Hackmotion for a little over a year, but keep getting bogged down on choosing a package. You touched on it briefly at the end there, but I'd love to hear more detail - As a high handicapper that's rapidly progressing, would you see value in having the radal/ulnar deviation + rotation numbers, or will extension/flexion likely be enough to get me 90% of the way to hitting consistently? I'm a tech junkie, but $500-$700 extra is a lot to justify only getting 2 extra measurables. I appreciate your honest input and I look forward to more videos on how you're using the device!

I would just work on one thing at a time. So buy the cheaper core package. You can always step up later when you are ready.

What happens if you do a wrist press at set-up, like Steve Stricker, then maintain that during the swing? I've incorporated this and have seen great results, plus one less thing to think about during the downswing.

As for the device the first position, while it’s noted, doesn’t affect the results of where the wrists need to be at the top and at impact. So if that’s working for you, it’s all good.

A tripod is definitely nice to have but it’s not necessary. You could prop the phone up on a golf ball at your feet and it would be fine.

Back in the 90s a golf pro at a place I visited was giving a lesson next to where I was hitting balls at the driving range took a ruler and a rubber band and attached it to the persons leading wrist. I think he was trying to teach this same technique. This looks more comfortable especially for the follow through. 😂

Good to know! I'm a single plane student with Graves Golf, so the swing is a model that must be followed. The model demands that at impact the hands must be leading (the club head) which as your video demonstrated, is easier said than done! I really enjoy your videos! Keep it up!
