Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

personally i find it more entertaining when you join other people's servers, you get to join in on whatever theyre doing. when people join you, theyre just trying to impress you with builds (the police train was something you featured a while back)

I agree completely unfortunately the developers still haven't fixed stability issues on multiplayer you need some serious hardware for 2-3 players the devs may optimise it now little 9 year olds will fake sman servers lol

@@cockatieltime2259 i dont believe the demand is too extreme. Ive noticed the servers tend to get choppy with a lot of explosions or destruction of large builds. I have what i refer to as "a toaster" for a computer. And as long as the builds arent max complexity. My toaster can pretty well handle 4 people without much issue

that was awesome i love the randomness of just "POP here i am SM server" makes me want to re install the game on console.. (unfortunately my pc cant run it haha) That V-Tol that looked out of halo.. makes me want to fiddle around with hover pads for stabilisation on one of my best helicopter build as that was stable but just to see if i can make it buttery smooth stable.. and that hover missile ooooft... talk about drag strip new record haha

This makes me realize that there is not enough creations made to facilitate passengers, so I request more 2 person creations. Think about it, how awesome is it to ride along with skilled pilots. Most people boat it groups. Submarines have full crews handling each individual operation. Cars are designed to move whole groups of people. The only vehicles that have one person in it are work vehicles. Even tanks have a crew to operate it.

IDEA!! Trailermakes should add a simple feature to ALLOW you to add a 2nd seat, that can control a separate part of the creation, just like Scrap Mechanic. This is especially better for Multiplayer session, as maybe you want to have 1 seat for the Pilot of a helicopter and a 2nd seat mapped to a gun for another player to control. Making it feel more interactive with one creation! SCRAP MAN GET THIS INFO TO THE DEVELOPERS!!!

Or you could join servers that people announced they're hosting on the discord both would make for a good follow-up for this video i think :D

Video Idea: you use the ramp you made from the explosive glider video, and instead of gliders, you have a bomb detached from a creation that tries to cushion the fall, and if it doesn't explode then, well, yeah you win the challenge. like those things in highschool where you had to drop an egg and stop it from breaking.

new idea for new video in multiplayer monday : Make the beyblades battle but all the player must be controlling the beyblade from the inside beyblade, so basically like the creation in here, 3-5 rounds, each round its having an extra more spinning speed (if possible), so more power into the helicopter servo or added more servo to made it spin super fast, Last one standing got the points, and the first broken will be taken as base beyblade for the next rounds xD
