-central Wisconsin: Wow, you put my Christmas Open House to shame, but I’m so happy for you that you did this. I had done a Christmas Open House for three years. It had became a tradition for family and friends to stop by on a Saturday, wether they were out shopping, or just needed to get out of the house. I would have it for an entire Saturday afternoon. Anyway, but then I came down with chronic Lyme disease, and for the past three years it has not happened, nor have I decorated. The kids are grown and live in different states, it’s just me here at home now. Do I miss it? Yes! Am I thankful I’m not doing it currently? Yes, but only because I just don’t have the energy, and because of this condition, I have not worked for the past 2 years either. So, I appreciate very much seeing your video today, and seeing someone else open their home for a day, for people to just stop in. Sadly, people just don’t do this anymore, and people don’t generally just stop by either to visit briefly. I find that sad. Anyway, thank you for doing this, and for sharing it with us too.

Rebecca I would have loved to have been there! I live in Southern Ohio and this year it was not possible to have been there in Oklahoma. My daughter gave birth to her 3rd baby December 2, 2022 and mine and my husband's 11th grsndchild! I have been watching you since 2010 when we moved into our 85 year old home. I have learned so much from you on decorating, especially for Christmas. In 2015 we had a big family Christmas party and our home was decorated so beautifully. I laughed out loud when you told the couple that had 7 Christmas trees " you got bit by the bug" because a man that knows nothing about you in our neighborhood comes and takes photos of my home and also patio area to send to his friends and family.
