I'm able to play 1.21 java on my Chromebook with fps mods and I get around 60 fps. I'm using it with the built in Linux container and prism launcher

I picked 4 of these up for £12.50 each a while back. They're pretty great tbh. Threw SSDs, i5 2500s (they came with i3s), 16GB RAM and cheapo firepro GPUs in them and given them to family and they're holding up great. For about £30 after upgrades per machine, I think they're great if you can get them super cheap. Obviously in my case, that is an anomoly, but if you can get one of these or a similar PC for cheap, definitely do it.

Hi bro ily and if you want you can do this: come to system configuration, click on the second tab and click on advanced. now check the processor box and make it the max one. this will help ur fps

I had this 13 yr old laptop with intel pentium and 6gb ram + an ssd. It used to average around 200fps easily and i even managed to reach upto 1300fps. (I have no idea how it handled minecraft so well). Edit: I'm talking about 1.8 tho

Bro I also have a T430 Thunkpad and I have optimized it very well! It gives me w 200+ constant fps on 1.18.2 with 8 gun mods! I would really recommend you to install Tiny10 windows. It's a custom win10 but debloated and optimized. It helped me a lot and I'm sure it'll help you too!

i have one i picked for 20 dollars with first gen i5 vpro and 8gb ram i gave i to my sister to play minecraft on it and its very great it is not lagging like yours on 12 render distance and 18 chunks simulation i put on 75 fps maximum because my sisters monitor is 75hz and it is not lagging at all

I think you can overclock it (the GPU)using intel xtu but it might not be that effective at all, but hey every little helps a low end GPU even 1 fps

This thing is old and not meant for gaming. We're also running an unsupported latest version of Minecraft. On older versions of the game it would run better like 1.8.9 or 1.7.10

U got only 20 fps on 1.20 with all the mods because the gpu is too old, sodium only supports gpus that support opengl 4.6, so i believe using optifine instead was better.
