Agreeably most of the items on the advent calendar are items I seen that are available off of Aliexpress and many other drop shipping websites. Most of those products are $2-$5, I own the usahana mofusand keychain (or cat with a colorful rabbit costume on), it does come with the same tags but it is well a dupe. Mine looks very similar to the one shown in the video rather than the official merch item. Incidentally if these advent calendars were made in very large amounts, they can buy the items from alibaba and buy a higher quantity of the contents even cheaper. Arguably for a few cents even.

about the art on the makeup: nekoyanin has stated that they commission artists for the art and then pays and extra fee for the commercial rights to it! the art is all different because she likes to support as many artists as she can but also because some artists take breaks or have full schedules so she has to find someone different.

Nahh, to me she just pumps out as many varieties products as possible to see which one hits. Her business model focuses on social media rather than quality of products imo. Based on the lack of cohesion of art style, brand identity and poor make up quality, i think she really targets gullible, younger demographics. The "support as many artists" as possible and "artists takes breaks" sounds like an excuse. Because you can commission more than one artwork from a single artist and work with a team of artists to maintain some sort of brand identity. Nekonayin to me seems more like an influencer selling mlm products because she doesn't really care about said products, only the selling part.

The Sanrio advent calendar actually had really cute stuff in it. Much better than the typical advent calendars I've seen. Advent calendars aren't really meant for bigger things like hats and such, just little trinkets or candies. The stained glass things are ornaments.

Here is the issue with Nekoyami and the other anime small business make up brands, they all have cheap manufacturers in china who will make a new formula, let the people who use them know they have it then ALL these small brands will come out with products with custom packaging and temu/aliexpress quality products. Its dropshipping with extra steps I hate to say.

I know that some people have a negative opinion on Nekoyanin, but as someone who has actually bought several of her products, I love them for the most part. I swear by her wing stamp eyeliner, and it has saved me hours while doing my makeup. none of my items have ever arrived broken and I love them. The only thing that I have had issues with are the cluster lashes, but I think it might be my glue, or that I don't have much experience with lashes in the first place. Her stuff is also affordable, especially for someone like me.

@ they are not. sanrio is an open license, anyone can put their label on if they pay a fraction to sanrio. most of the items from the calendar actually are dropshipped from china and therefore mostly available on aliexpress. they were neither produced for kinda kawaii exclusively nor are they „fake“ for said reason.

Almost all her products are from a third party seller which she talks abt a lot but doesn't say who the seller is or really anything abt them in general. She's never talked abt the artists and is secretive abt who they are. If I remember, she even said they don't want to be known or smth to do with them wanting privacy which is odd that the artists wouldn't want credit? No where on her site or socials credits them, if so, it's very hidden and not easy to find which is odd. Its odd how she says she has part in the manufacturing, but she contradicts that when she talks abt her "seller", which her only ever saying "my seller" is odd alone, and her buying the products from them bc that very clearly says she doesn't have part. She just buys what they make. She doesn't monitor it being made. Ppl have asked abt the process of her making things or how she designs and she's very vague abt it bc everyone runs with it and she ignored ppl who question more, blocks them, deflects and starts promotimg herself, or removes the comment. There's a lot of things abt her tbh that are not good signs for what she says she is. She has art from juno ito and Ouran high-school hostclub on the products which obviously aren't from someone she worked with. Idk the copyright on those specifically or what needed to be done for that to be allowed tho. There's sailor moon and an obviously Wednesday inspired character too. Whether artists that she commissioned drew those or not, idk how copy right works in the area of having someone else draw copyrighted characters so they don't get copyrighted bc thats exactly what she did. The obviously sailor moon looking one says nothing abt being inspired by it either nor does the juno ito one. One sailor moon one does, but its further on the palette page than the one that doesn't say it. The lashes, highlighter, and primer with obviously sailor moon on them also says nothing abt how it's sailor moon, again idrk how that works tho. The nine tails bundle obviously is from smth copyrighted, but again besides nine tails being said in the name, nothing talks abt what it's inspired by. Legality aside, it's not transparent. She has nails with kuromi on it, and it's easily to find Sanrio on a lot of unofficial things, but its normally all knock off items or the person had to get an okay. Idk how that works for what's on the nails or if it exists for that, but she also doesn't say what's on them. Tho obviously if you know kuromi you know it's kuromi, but she doesn't acknowledge that they're kuromi nails. Which is odd bc most of the nails have a description of what they're based on. She listed the strawberry ones as strawberry inspired, so it's just odd she doesn't do that for a copyrighted character. She's also been called out for copying in the past and twisted the situation a whole 180 to make her look like the victim, then apologized for being unprofessional when it was shown what all actually happened and that she in fact copied and blocked who she copied after arguing with them and being rude to them even tho she claimed they were being rude to her. This alone is just sketchy, but how she sells and words things too. She upsells her products to get ppl to think they're the best. Her nails say they rival salon quality, when they're very clearly from someone who's just got into nails. They're cute, but she oversold way too much and they're $50 which she states is affordable. They're press ons as well which don't stay on the best. Idk if the adhesive to press on is on them or if its manual application bc "sticky pads" are listed as what's included. There is glue that is included, but if the adhesive to press on them is on them already, from my experience, the glue doesn't hold well when on the adhesive and it feels really weird. It also tears the adhesive off on your nail when the nails come off. Idk the glue she uses so idk how well they last, but $50 for press on, yes handpainted, but said to rival salon quality while being affordable when it's neither. Sure compared to a nail tech, the nails would probably be double, but they would also be better quality. There's sizing on the nails too? Xs-L which confuses me bc its hard to know what would be the right one, and most ppl don't have a measurer around to measure their fingers. There's nothing saying the common size for most ppl either. The nails say they can be worn multiple times, but from my experience with reusable nails, they get glue build up quick and it's not really easy to get the glue off the fake nail. With ones handpainted idk how well it'd come off without you ending up ruining the polish. With ones you get at the store too, there's extras, but if these fall off it's just lost and there's no replacement. Again idk how well the glue she uses works. There's a lot more than I've noticed from her that raises eyebrows for what she claims to be and for the persona she has to sell her products

Sadly I’d have to question that. I’m not sure if she commissions different artists for each of her items but the art styles are never consistent in my opinion. And it’s weird for me to think that a business wouldn’t stick to one artists after seeing their work and liking it (it’s unusual to have a different unnamed artist each time 😅). Not to mention, if you ask any anime fans to look at the covers everyone will recognize characters from already existing anime’s (that’s why Naomi was questioning it as well). I’m a graphic designer so I know about both the art world and corporations, etc. and let me just say, even if she hired an artist to re-draw a character from an anime it could still be copyright infringement. Especially the closer it looks to the original anime style (which a lot of her art covers do). I don’t like to think so negatively or anything but the lack of acknowledgement towards her anime covers being already existing anime’s is not a good sign.

Honestly, i bought the cattitude (pink) and tomie (junji ito, black) palettes and the normal shades in the pink one are really nice, the shimmers aswell, BUT THE GLITTERS ARE AAWFUL. Just like how Naomi swatched it on her hand. Its the same with the ito palette and the glitters, not workable with at all. Also there are like two black shades and there is no difference...neither are they very pigmented imo :( Oh yeah and the pans fall out :/ edit: i also got the ara ara powder, the packaging came broken with powder everywhere and was too orange for me. And i got like the cute sailor moon(?) highlighter palette and was obsessed with it for a while but the actual pretty glitter shimmer is only a layer on the top..

Okay so I’m here to give you some explanation about the Sanrio calendar: the cat at 5:16 is dressed as Usahana which is a lesser known character ! On day 11 (5:58) the Pochacco figurine normally comes with dices with numbers and days on them (exactly like the Hello Kitty one) :) And the ring at 6:08 is Cinamoroll branded bc there is his lil face in the middle of the rose (it’s tiny) (Also, the stained glass are ornaments for your tree :))

I personally would give the Sanrio Adventkalender some slack because I love, love, love figurines and keychains, I like going outside with my bag and sounding like a decorated christmas tree got legs. The stained glass ornaments were adorable and very fitting if you are a big Sanrio (IN GENERAL NOT JUST ONE POPULAR CHARACTER) fan and you would decorate your tree with it, then totally a cute calendar! And yes Nekoyayin commissions artists, they don't steal artwork as far as we know.

About the first makeup artist she actually has a KZbin! She is a small business and she shows her process with most of her makeup. She also mentions how much things can cost and explains a bit of the process, it is really cool. She has some really good palettes with glitter but I can't remember the name of it. She has some amazing products but I'm mostly attracted to the goth style as I don't really do color

Here is the issue with Nekoyami and the other anime small business make up brands, they all have cheap manufacturers in china who will make a new formula, let the people who use them know they have it then ALL these small brands will come out with products with custom packaging and temu/aliexpress quality products. Its dropshipping with extra steps I hate to say.

Also I'd love to agree or disagree with you, but your comment doesn't really make sense, so I will just say what I think from what I interpreted from your comment: Nekoyanin always shows us the process from the making of her products and even if the manufacturer isn't the most expensive, she is still a small business and she can't just randomly pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to produce her products, but she also always shows us that if she isn't happy with how the samples are or with the quality, she won't sell it. She is aware that her packaging is similar to other small businesses packaging (SHE HAS A SMALL BUSINESS, SHE CAN'T PAY FOR COMPLETELY CUSTOM PACKAGING), but she tries her best to put a lot of creativity into it to make her brand stand out from all the others so it doesn't look like copy paste. She has said that enough times on her account and is really transparent with it, so I think she tries her best. If you really think her products are bad quality because they are produced in china, you could just look at the customer reviews, but they seem mostly positive, so I don't know what you base your argument on...

Those noodles are THE bomb. She says to add chili, I agree and also say add your spring doves (spring onions) and serve it with either chicken or pork. And also pour all the soup bases into the bowl first and then emulsify it with the water and stir. THEN add your noodles. Literally makes them 1000x better. I went through a phase where I only ate those noodles for a month 😅

Hey love. In Poland there's few types of pickle cucumbers. Them ones that you just had are konserwowe which means they're more vinegar. There's also kiszone and małosolne which for me are best of the best. You should try these. Love your content ❤

I would definitely recommend the moon goddess color changing lip oil(although beware if you don't like the feeling of gritty glitter, cause it does have a slight gritty feeling, otherwise it's great!), and the jelly lipsticks! The jelly lipsticks are almost like a chapstick in texture but apply super glossy and shiny! As far as eyeshadow, I'd recommend the dream girl palette if you're into pigmented glitter! Or the Cattitude palette for pinks with some matte shades! I'd also recommend any of the gamer palettes if you like pops of color! I'd also recommend the Cupid lip muds. They are super fluffy and cloudy and give your lips a blurred look, making them look effortlessly soft! They can also be used as blush or eyeshadow :) I haven't tried every product of hers, but my first buys was great! All the products were in good condition and weren't broken! And they looked just as they did on her videos. But just know that everyone's set of products can be defective still. It's very common to get a defective makeup product, so don't think that just because my experiences were great that you won't get a bad batch, Yk? Anyway, that's all! It was a Christmas calendar so the stained glass windows were definitely Christmas 🎄 tree Ornaments and they were beautiful. I gasped at every one. 😍 the keychains i didn’t have a problem with either...you dont have to put keys on them 😂 you can attach them to bags or wallets. Naomi’s hair has a little bit to grow to get to the length of Erin’s hair. And Naomi doesn’t strike me as retro. But don’t get me wrong, Erin Parsons is amaaaaazing. I devour everything she creates as soon as she posts it. It just seems to be like her and Naomi are worlds apart, fashion and hair-wise. Naomi is very trendy and Erin is very vintage/retro. Both are fabulous.
