Funny but they need to eat too put some dried corn on a nail you can buy them at hardware stores then you just push the corn into it and the squirrels will leave your bird feeders alone. I had one in my tree for 14 years and had 5 bird feeders around my porch I never had a problem with the squirrels and the chipmunks cleaned up whatever was left on the ground so everyone was happy and fed even in the winter 🙃 🙂 just love all animals ❤. I saved a baby squirrel got its foot frozen to the ground and I put it in a bird cage until spring then released it. It's foot had to be worked on to keep it from losing it but with lots of prayers it was just fine when I released it in a beautiful park away from cars it could spend the rest of its life running free plenty of food to eat too.❤👍😁

My Dad used to crack nuts slightly for the squirrels. One of them was there for a couple of years and would come get a nut out of Daddy’s hand. He also had several bird feeders. He had so much patience. This brought back sweet memories of him.

This was genius, it is a bird feeder for the birds yall, quit making her feel bad. The squirrel will get up there and dump it all out on the ground. You don't want to feed squirrels, they are much like large rats and will become a real nuisance. We love watching the birds too! Now get a bird bath, those are so much fun too!

We just buy peanuts in the shell that are uncooked and the blue Jays and the Cardinals in my area will dive bomb the squirrels and they get first pick before the squirrels can even get near them 🤣
