I always love the over-engineered builds! Glad they made a comeback today. That little song was hilarious to me btw. Edit: Now that I think about it, I want you to do wedge power episode 2.0. Wedges are inherently more effective on big wheels and sawblades, so maybe you could make a wedge-powered car with big wheels. The more wedges agsinst the big wheels, the faster it spins. Wedge gang

The claws gave me an idea for a possible future build. Some kind of robot mining machine/building that grabs rocks, lifts them up, and drops them down into a much bigger grinder. Below the grinder would be some tracks that move the grinded rods in a nice line into a refignery. All completely useless and overengineered, but I think it would look cool! Just like the scorpion miner.

Crazy idea: saw/drill rod that gets flung at trees and rocks, mining them.

It could be a good idea to make a contraption for mining that has zero bearings or pistons (except for those on the drills/saws). The less moving parts, the less lag. I don't know if you need to throw it, though. While making it more impressive, it also makes it harder to get a good mining speed. Something that you just position on top of a rock node or around a tree (either with a separate vehicle or just with your lift) should be interesting enough.

I can think of a more... perhaps, elegant solution for the cambre on the wheels. Assuming you would prefer the wheels being exposed. Instead of moving the bearings to the outside, attach them with a wedge, add a block or two above it around the top of the wheel, and have the wheels pivot out from there.

A WASD converter using sensors and Bearings might be useful if done right. Just take a little practice to arrange cheaply. Otherwise, I'd probably intend for a Scorpion miner to be built more for two people, so that The tail and claws are operational form two different seats.

What about a rock node annihilator? Just a setup that encases an entire rock node around with drills with resource collectors also nearby, you turn it on/kill your frames, and after the 16 seconds to 16 days of waiting, the entire rock node on the surface is gone and collected in one go. It's like the cup and ball trick, but you're disappearing an entire rock outcropping.

Hey Scrapman, I have a video suggestion! Use a random letter generator to get a few random letters. Then go to the Scrap Mechanic workshop, enter the random letters into the search bar and see what shows up! It might take a few tries, but it might be fun to try!

Maybe now you should over engineer a train. Make it were it has a train car that can hold the stones and wood then a train car to hold this scorpion vehicle and your saw blade vehicle. (Probably not at the same time) then maybe have a passenger car just in case Cosmo Kan and moonbow and other freinds of yours want to join. You can haul them around and maybe in one box car you have your home in it or in a caboose then you might have a box car for your crafting machine then a restaurant car for your food and farm good storage be behind the counter or something. Lol. I know its alot. But i think you can over engineer something and make it work it out. 🙂 good luck if you do try this. Hopefully scrap mechanic didn't get to mad aka laggy which it probably will if you haul your scorpion minor and saw blade car on it at the same time. Ps. If you make a steam train it needs to have a Tender in less you make a tank engine. Lol

Build a literal build-a-bear workshop. A bear themed walker assembled by a machine before it gets going. Sounds doable, but it may need some form of method to weld pieces.

Scorpions have 6 legs and 2 claws, also their legs are cambered getting higher from front to back to balance their weight, also the tail needs to be one segment longer because Scorpions grab theif prey then sting while holding it in their claws.
