I Paid $34 To Use Pearson Airport's Plaza Premium Lounge & It's Worth It For The Drinks

Too many travellers assume that you need to fly first or business class to access an airport lounge when most airports actually have at least one you can pay your way into. On a recent trip from Toronto Pearson Airport to London Gatwick, Narcity’s Ali Millington decided to check out the Plaza Premium Lounge in Terminal 3, which is open to the public and pretty affordable.

I think the biggest issue in that lounge is that the showers get booked out and it may not be available when you need it before your flight which I'm very concerned about as I am travelling in July and have booked a good deal at this lounge on third party website..... but I am worried that I get there within the 3 hours that I shall be in the lounge 4koma the shower will be booked out as I have been seeing on many reviews

As a European citizen who travels for a living, -having travelled through literally hundreds of airports, I can without hesitation say that Toronto Pearson airport ranks one of the worst, if not THE worst airport I have ever experienced. It is a concrete, soulless, depressing place with zero character. The selections of stores, bars and restaurants is pathetic. The washrooms are not maintained and stink like urine. The airport in general is dirty with dust everywhere with filthy carpets. Nothing works when it comes to electrical or usb outlets. This airport is a disgrace. Just my opinion. I travel to USA 3-5 times per year and decided to try via YYZ. Never again. Cheers JP

If u travelled so much to the US you’d be more appreciative, no way am I an apologies for Pearson but if uve been to LGA in NY then you’d deffo say Pearson ain’t that bad 😂😂

@@sanjarsocool Indeed I have been to LGA several times. And they just upgraded their terminals to the tune of 10,5 BIllion dollars CAD. Its a rather very nice airport. Even Philly is ten times nicer than that shithole Pearson, Toronto. Cheers. (Yes, Pearson IS bad)

Not that many people fly to YXU from YYZ for the lounge. I am one of them too! 😂

Imagine paying $34 for 1 hour just so you can in a boring lounge room drinking wine.. and the only beer they have is Molson Canadian lol no thanks

That was all that was included in the price, you could pay for other beers!

TBH, l d rather not give this airport more money than I have to. That being said, it looks like this is a way to kick off a vacation in some style. Wouldn't touch that shower room😂...unless I have to.
