I bought a '79 CB750K for $700 with everything there except air box and needs new chain, sprockets, ignition coils and carb rebuild. This bike you bought in comparison made me feel better about my purchase lol

It has come a long way too!!! When I get back from my cross country ride that I am taking on the Kawasaki GPZ1100 that I got for FREE from a neighbor. I will be finishing up my CB750.

Definitely keep it more to stock looking with modern updating where financially feasible. They were beautiful bikes in their day!

That's the plan! Keep it stockish. make some subtle changes to the stock pieces and parts.
