as a person that does drawings, and stuff. a wall painting is not so bad, because the area is bigger, small details are easy to fill in, and look correct. but on large canvas...lots of tiny detail and steady hand work is needed...and can consume hours...i just finished a 9x11 drawing, from concept to sketch, to ink, to paint, took 6 days, and over 12 hours. because on the tiny detail i had to move slow, to keep a steady hand.

This is incredibly cool. I’m not usually a fan of neon stuff, (came here bc I needed to learn about UV paint for a music video costume commission, which is def. not my normal style)….. but I kinda want to give this a try! Also, I really want to thank you for being open and real about some of the struggles that go along with doing paintings- when you feel like you don’t want to do it anymore, you’re tired, the phase where every stroke feels terrible. It’s actually super validating to know that a fantastic artist like yourself has those same struggles, and that it’s okay to go through those different phases. Thanks for showing us reality and for the ideas of how to push through it ❤️

You probably can't see the blue fluorescence on white paper because white paper has aesculin mixed in, which fluoresces blue. This is done because white things start to become faintly yellow over time and with blue sheen from the aesculin in sunlight, things appear brighter white. See also shoe laces, t-shirts,...

I think the painting is really cool! I hate to be that person who gives "advice" in the comments. Anyway, you are sooo much better an artist than I am, that I cannot critique your technique and I am learning so much from you channel. But materials are a different thing. A note on the fluorescent paints. I used to do haunted houses and we found that pro fluorescent paints not only worked better, they ended up not being more expensive because they saved paint and time. They are sooo much brighter. And if you view them with the proper 3D glasses, the reds and yellows appear to float off the canvas and the blues recede into the background. Even works a bit without the glasses. That will happen with any fluorescent paint, but the pro stuff is on another level.
