@@jacklightburn6585 did three coats and used TH25 thinners after I realised I should have done it with the first coat. Much easier to apply as the paint is oil based and hard to apply without it. The thinner you apply coats the quicker it dries, really doesn’t take long to be touch dry 👍🏼

@@davypeugeot I did have a looky at the raptor but I just didn’t like the look or feel of it. Went for the satin finish so it’s easier to clean and if I ever needed to repaint it completely it will only cost me £70 👌🏼

Can confirm after nearly 2.5 years with no touch ups it’s still not flaking, bit of wear and tear from everyday use but to be expected!

Hi mate, great video, quick question how did you manage to avoid roller lines in your paint finish. I’ve roller painted a van before but there was lines all over it, got a newer van now but body on it is terrible so I’m going satin slate grey on this one. Any advice would be awesome. Cheers geez

Common question, but I found that thinning the paint and getting as much out of the roller as possible before dipping it back in the paint tray prevented the lines. Just keep adding layers til you’re happy! 🤘🏼

Hi Marc! Nope this paint is exactly what the old boys use to repaint their battered landrovers after sending it off road. Every step I did is exactly as is in the video. Wash surfaces thoroughly, lightly key the paint and then whack the paint on! Finish is still looking great after 3 years! 🫡

Hey man, check the description for everything I used including paint and rollers! You don’t need to actually sand the vehicle with this type of paint but I just keyed the whole surface anyway and 3 years on she’s still looking great! 1st coat looks terrible but but the end of the second it looked spot on. I did 3 in the end for all the larger panels 💀🤘🏼

Still spot on and I've done over 1000 miles since too! It does scratch easily but I have enough paint to touch up in the summer again if need be! No visible roller marks if applied thin with a few coats! - Hope that helps!
