I'd disagree on that. While the overall political plot is dark....Everything with Noor is not. Like Noor reminds me of a more capable superhuman version of Laios from Dungon Meshi. He's...very off socially, and also one of the nicest people in the show. He's very out of place with the plot he finds himself in involving the Princess but that's a bit where the humor comes from. He's functionally an upbeat almost-unbeatable superhero in a dark fantasy.
