If you lay a frig on its face just the bolts out of the frame of the compressor and cut the lines to the frig you have the hole unit mutch quicker plus some friges have coiles on the inside easy to remove and .more profit .😊

If you look in the freezer you will find a door behind that door there is usually a nice piece of aluminum that you can take out fairly easily

If you look in most side by sides and the one on top most of them have a really nice clean aluminum core and most the time they are easy to get out..

4 or 6 screws or bolts on the bottom will drop that whole part right out. Put those to the side. Remove the goodies, bolt it back on. 😁

Hi in England we can't scrap fridge freezers or fridges if you get caught letting the gas out it's a £5,000 fine and scrap yard won't take them. so there are fridge freezers everywhere and no one will take them only the local council great video all the best Colin
@ScrappingwithGrandpa Жыл бұрын
I don’t take them apart unless there empty. And if there not empty I bring them in as is. I don’t care if I get compressor motors I’d rather bring it in like it is. I never empty gas it’s not legal anywhere Not good for the environment. I have grand kids.

u get more money on that boat motor on market place lots more bad move to scrap a boat motor running or not
@ScrappingwithGrandpa Жыл бұрын
I have two boat repair places that are near me. I called both of them and asked them about that motor. Both of them told me that it was not worth repairing and they were not interested. So I did a little bit of shopping around first. I also asked the guy at the scrapyard about it. He has bought a couple from me and he said he wasn’t interested in either. Some of them old boat Motors are hard to get parts for.
