It's rather a standard issue sometimes. I find it hard to believe that MSI would of had those wires cross with the clips like that though. Looks like someone has been in the system before per the no hard drive mount for starters.

@@hitmebabyonemoretime7643 Hi bro, the SODIM stands for RAM which is made for Laptops or computers that use the same form factor of RAM. The SO in SODIMM stands for Small Outline, which means these RAMs are smaller. The DIMM stands for Desktop ram and for the standard size. You cannot use standard Side RAM in Laptop or DIMM to SODIMM because cannot fit in the port. But you can use SODIMM in DIMM OR Laptop RAM in Desktop computers but using Converter. I've have tried this but the performances are not really good for many tasks, but in many tests works the same. However, I always recommend to use parts for what are made, If something is for desktop then is good to be used on Desktop. If something is made for laptop than is good to be used on laptop

It's difficult these times to find a ddr3 1333mhz 4gb ram for two slots since ddr3 are nearly obselete. Somehow i found ddr3 rams but 1666mhz and its DIMM. That us why im asking if i could use a DIMM ram on a motherboard that supports an existing SODIMM rams

Go to your Local Pharmacy store. Get isopropyl alcohol 90% or higher. Don't buy it if it is less than 90%. Basically Alcohol itself is anti static only if it has high concentration.

I use a core 2 duo like the one on this video... I recommend use at least 6 GB or ram... It's good for KZbin Netflix and office in general... Even for zoom calls all on Win10
