This is just my favorite game period. I'm well on my way to a thousand hours on it, and it's an inside joke between me and my group who play it how I've gone on a character arc with this game. When my sister first introduced me, I was terrified of wolf spiders. Let's just say my first encounter with the one around the baseball where we made our base was very memorable. When I learned that there were bosses and what they were, I was like "well that's cool, but I'm never gonna be able to do that. Especially the Infected Broodmother." Since then, I had a grudge against wolf spiders and over the last year and a half, I learned more and more tricks and trinkets, researched important status effects, and mastered perfect blocking, and not too long ago, I beat the Infected Broodmother on my own (admittedly on Mild) so now my character arc playing Grounded is a running joke between my sister and my friends I play with. It's honestly fun to watch someone who doesn't know the game like the back of their hand going through it blindly without knowing anything

ive clocked in just over 1500 hours on it, I got it the very day the early access version released back in the summer of 2020 yet ive had no one to play it with but its easily my favorite game of all time. Ive tried to get friends to play it for the past 4 years then when we play they quit after like 20 minutes, even when ive bought the game for my friends which ive done twice now, I still dont have anyone to play it with.

You might want to fight mosquitoes with an ax, especially since the insect bow is hard to acquire for newer players because of wolf spiders

Fun fact I used the ladybug armor and mosquito needle with a wrap shield through my play through and it was surprisingly good. Especially after upgrading them.

1. Mushroom chunks can be used to make bricks after being grinded down 2. The ladybug armor is one of the best sets in the game 3. Stump lab can be unlocked from one of the lab outposts in the pond cutscene 4. The game is being updated on April 16th! And it’s going to be awesome. You should look at continuing the series then. Maybe trying to kill the bosses? (P.s. 1:20:19, it gets better than that lol)

Me and my friend nearly finished Grounded and have developed three well-defended bases, one in the Spawn Region, Pond Region, and our Castle addition between the puddle where the mosquitoes hang and where the bees on that one picnic table chill out at the top. The Castle is highly impenetrable and has pure mushroom brick walls and bur flooring. And boy, are we proud of our accomplishments so far! Grounded is so much fun to play with a full team of teens, no doubt. 👍🏻❤️

Honestly this game def gets more fun the more upgrades you get and the weapons get a lot cooler. Also you can uses the mushrooms to make stuff to be able to make mushroom bricks for essentially castle like base building

when i first played grounded i chose the mild opition, and it was kinda easy so i played on woah and the difference was insane, bugs that were kinda easy became deadly and the game became hard and i have no idea why i was thinking that it was still gonna be easy lol

If you do 200 days to help with building, you can move the pallets with stemms and grass on them around with relocate. Just move you pallet fill it with stems pick up the pallet, and place it down. The stems should still be on them.

I love this game. But I have an avid fear of spiders, and my friends made me a deal that I could turn the arachniphobia friendly mode but ONLY after killing the wolf spider. Needless to say, I was crying for two hours on a leaf until it died.

Weapon and armor upgrades only go to nine (for now). Ladybug armor is teir 2, not one. I also use it all the way to end game. probably still the best armor set in the game

Now do whoah mode the hardest difficulty it's like the 7 cycles of hell 1 painfully 2 grindy 3 pain in the buttox 4 it's like getting in a 4 v 1 with a lion there being 4 lions and only you and you have to use your first because once you die you lose a quarter of your armour's health and me being experienced with a lot less experienced friend suffer from stigma few how painfull it is

After watching this video, I realized that I brute forced literally everything in my game. I'm on day 30, have all the superchips, and have made it to the sandbox and upper part of the yard. Yet, I just made a level 2 ax and hammer on day 29. I did all of that with only level 1 weapons and red ant armor. Maybe after finishing my current game, I should play again and actually use the upgraded weapons lmao.
