Im not a critic for this kinda thing but you nailed the audio balancing. Clear game sfx without the in game music and the discord call + music volumes feel really good! Its a shame the audience for comp splatoon stuff is so small I really like this.

I thought the big bubbler over the cooler in the enemy spawn was quite lovely. It had a very scenic view.

I just love what Mint is so much. Been waiting for a weapon with this pacing and set of parameters since day 1 Splatoon 1. Love seeing what you've been doing with it as I've become a bit more distant from playing with other life responsibilities.

If there's one thing that I know with this weapon, it's that when paired up with Ninja Squid it can be very nasty when flanking. From my experience with this weapon it's mainly a 50/50 when trying to go for sneaky kills, but it's definitely an option to use when trying to use the Mint Decavitator.

what makes the decav more valuable than other midrange weapons? compared to similar shooters it has a bad kill time, and stamper outclasses it in everything except paint. the long dash is useful but predictable and easily punished due to its low kill time, and shooters and dualies have an extremely easy time moving through enemy ink anyway. Genuinely asking, because i think the decav is cool and i do want to use it, but after playing with it for a while i can’t really find a reason to pick it.

I've played mint for quite a bit, super fun weapon. Though sometimes I wanna dash and it just doesn't work? Still learning splatanas tho.

Remember to walk forward (relative to where your camera is facing) before dashing. Turning to perform flicks should be performed during the dash (like stamper and wiper). Not walking in the same direction as your camera/forwards will not make you dash. Also, ensure that you are grounded - a dash slash cannot be performed midair. (This is also why stamper jumps a bunch, so as to avoid accidental dashes that could lead to untimely deaths) TLDR: - look and walk forwards to dash - your feet must touch the ground before dashing
