It's David vs Goliath, old vs young, vibes vs meta.
For the first time on this channel I go head to head against another GeoGuessr player, and boy did I pick a handy one. Zi8gzag is one of the top players in the world and specialises in NMPZ (No Moving, panning or zooming) challenges, something that I inadvertently got him into way back in 2021.
THE CHALLENGE: We decided to keep it pure and simple and play 100 rounds (20 games) against each other and see what the split would end up being.
Would it be 5? 10? 20? could I maybe even win a game against Zi8gzag? we had no idea.
After all, this is Geoguessr's hardest format, and it can make even the very top players panic and squirm. All we were sure of was that it was going to be action packed, and we were right. This session had it all, from insane guesses to terrible ones to incredibly tight rounds at the most crucial of moments...

Thanks for stopping by everyone. Couple of things I'd like to share with you: Firstly, the official petition to make knife crime prevention a compulsory requirement for all (UK) school curriculum (endorsed by the James Brindley foundation - a charity very close to my heart) is ALMOST at 10,000 signatures. We're just a couple of hundred off! It would mean the world to my old mate Jim's family if we could get this over the 10k mark and force the Government to listen. Here is the link: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/634860 Secondly, our good friend Ben Cook (Dribbling Britain + Running across Wales in a day) has just completed a pretty damn impressive run of his own up in the North East, raising money for Russ Cook's running Charity. Check it out here: www.justgiving.com/page/metrothon Thanks everyone for hearing me out and especially to those who have signed or donated. Have a great weekend one and all 💪

So many players got into the game through GeoWizard until Rainbolt came along, and he's still one of the names everyone knows in the community. I remember one day back in ~2020 having a conversation with another geo player and I think it was about GeoWizard, and they brought up how they thought they were about at GeoWizard's level now, which made me realize that hey, I might be better than GeoWizard too, and that was a wild thought. Speaking about meta and if anyone is reading this two months after this video was posted (lmao), another tip for Zürich: as they pointed out, you can see German on the sign, and even if you don't pick up on the 'rich vibes', you can also see that the license plate on the car doesn't have the blue (blurred, obvs) stripe on the left that indicates an EU country - meaning it's Switzerland.

I keep wondering why it is that despite the fact that there are several geoguessr players who are much better than Tom, I still enjoy watching Tom the best. Partly, it's because he doesn't have all the identifying markers memorized and therefore plays (slightly) closer to how a "normal" player would play. And partly, it's *because* he's not as perfect as the others. An insane guess is ever so much more interesting to watch. tl;dr - Love your videos, Tom.
