Loved to see the consistency strategically on your volleys against Antonio. This is the type of 'non-flashy' play style that really makes padel padel. Incredible restraint and focus. Afterwards you could see the tactical 'making the opponents move' restraint start to fade into what I like to call 'taking shortcuts' and forcing your way through the opponents rather than diligently working your defense and transitions. Great content mate and loving seeing your progress and reflections. And from a Dutch guy who plays with Spaniards some times: don't be afraid to be really be buzzing with your partner! Hype each other up man!

nice video, on volleys I see you make the very common mistake of switching target a lot, you should keep pressure on the same opponent unless your body is moving to the other player direction. We always do the same mistake too :) eg 10:20

Nice video. Can you explain the grade of the tournament? Not familiar with uk grading
@EverythingPadel4 ай бұрын
Grade 1 is the highest with most points avaliable, so the top players will play that, grade 5 is lowest with least points avaliable. A lot of intermediate level enter grade 4-5 to get experience. I usually do good i grade 3-5, but lose in 1-2

Really great stuff and really great playing 🙂 This is probably a super annoying question: I noticed that your supporting (left) hand very often is pretty low and not as high and active as you might see elsewhere. Is there a reason for that choice of technique? It doesn’t seem to hinder you that much - if at all 😊 Again - I apologise if this sounds arrogant 😅

lets say it was a half no look shot... the ball was virtually on his pala when he half turned his head away, but as you are looking at the angle of his pala to see where the ball might be going, a no look shot shouldn't bother you at all. Someone does that to me and it makes me more determined and you know they are then perhaps over confident and it can be there level of concentration has dropped and you have a chance, but in reality, as you say, those guys are a different level to you guys...... so 9/10 they are going to win.
