@@Человекмира-у8с I assume you mean side underspin serve? Its an extremely difficult shot to perfect but once you understand the mechanics and timing to hit it is can be super duper consistant! First of all, find a practice partner who is willing to do multiball practice or at least do the same serve consistently 100 times in a row with the same ball. Tell him to give you a simple backspin serve long to your backhand, and you will loop it (he can practice the return of this ball and then you counter with backhand to make the drill more dynamic). But for the actual backhand loop against the underspin serve, you will need to open up your racket angle, like a LOT. keep you wrist super loose, rotate around your elbow, and finish foreward, pointing to your aiming spot. keep your weight low and over your feet. Watch how Ma Long loops against backspin, he pushes his hips foreward to add power from his legs. try this, push up from the ground and move your racket up and foreward, nice and relaxed, and try to loop the ball over the net with a high arc and lots of spin. You arent adding the spin, you are simply reversing the backspin from your opponents serve. keep trying until you get a ball that sails high over the net and lands near the back line. Then, simply adjust this backhand shot to add more power, hitting more through the ball, and closing the angle just a little bit (but you still shouldn't need to rip your wrist and arm to get it over, it should feel almost effortless because of the open racket angle). That should just about do it. Also all of this applies to chinese tacky rubber like DHS Hurricane 3, or Dignics 09C, thats what I use and the technique I use. Its probably slightly different for bouncy european or japanese rubbers like tenergy 05, but maybe it still applies. Good luck, and let me know how it goes! I wrote this whole essay after all...

Mooie match Olav! Ik zou het wel toffer gevonden hebben als je niet op voorhand had gezegd dat je de match was gewonnen, omdat dit het einde dat er wel spannend uitzag toch minder spannend maakte. Misschien een idee voor de volgende keer 👍

Well played! Were you able to see the contact on his serves? From the camera angle it seems pretty blatantly hidden

Hmm barely/barely not. I could read it, however, by focusing more on how the ball was spinning. If you pay close attention, you'll see that I often move to the left a bit before his serve, also for getting a better view of the contact.

Hi Olav, I think your video’s are excellent and are helping me a lot. I have learnt so much just from this video alone. I notice how aggressive you are when he attacks. You are always trying to counterspin, much more effective than blocking (though admittedly harder too!) but for me this aspect is superb and I am trying hard to add this into my own game 👍🏼

Is possible to know what rubber is he using for forehand? It seems like in certains angles the ball fell off the blade like no grip . Also what rubber are you using?
