if bandai would just make a naruto xenoverse type game then we wouldn't need this in the first place. seriously i love dragonball and all. but customization is very character inspired. where with naruto the world building and abilities are mostly able to be used by everyone in theory.

Shinobi striker 2 could be that, it has similarities to how Xeno1 started, if we are lucky it will get the same treatment, everything bigger and better! (but it probably won't have the same vision since it looks like the original founders of solie have all left the company)

The concept is really cool, but i don't think this would be a fully made game at some point, even though the game is still very early in development it seems to be using mostly shinobi strikers assets and animations so that might mean that Bamco would shut this down when they found out. I feel that the best option for the devs is to make a Naruto inspired game rather than a directly Naruto fangame, some of my favourite fangame also take this route, example being Project Rascal being a Sonic inspired game rather than a directly Sonic fangame, this not only allows them to make money off the game but also let them have creative freedom to add or change stuff rather than having to follow what have come before

I'm surprised that there hasnt been an open world naruto rpg. I could imagine it mixing hectic action with stealth and maybe give the players freedom on how they could play with the given tools/jutsus. Although would also prefer if the combat wasn't too "arena fighter"-ish.

You onow what i would realy like? A nioh type naruto game. Where you are a no name ninja in the mids of some war. Instead of spirits you have summons (normal sized). You can learn new jutsu and at the start decide your clan/village for boosts in certain stats

This game reuses the first Ultimate ninja storm map you can even see that they tried to remove the invincible fence boundary from that game even the textures and interiors are the same they basically copy and pasted the assets and mappings although they should've at least removed the doors from the training arena and not gonna lie this makes me think how interested people would be if I made a manga accurate Leaf village as a fan game but also in no way am I judging the developer of this fan game I'm just pointing out that this fan game is not entirely original and Ultimate Ninja Storm has an inaccurate Leaf Village compared to the manga and this makes me interested in accurate Leaf Village Map

It’s going to blow your mind, but in an open world game you typically don’t have everything empty. You would be able to discover things, rank up, progress as a character, etc. The possibilities are limited by just imagination

Honestly I just want a Naruto 3D platformer since I liked the platforming in Naruto ultimate ninja 3 and 4 on ps2. I haven't played broken bond and rise of the ninja because I don't own any Xbox console but their gameplay looks good too. Also I liked the time trial like missions they added to those games too. (Naruto ultimate ninja 4 had some of those too).
