dude, i can't put in words the quality of this video; the introduction explaining its quirks, the editing, the commentary over those two games, the skill itself to pull all that off, damn! You're in the right path to grow the channel, hopefully the algorithm will bless you to gain even more traction! ngl the Seafire dogfight at the end of the first match and the yak-3 dogfight near the end of the second match are pure MADNESS, very satisfying to watch a good pilot winning situations that were unlikely to have a positive result, still, craaazy!!!

It's called RCSM, Realistic Combat Sound Mod. It's 100% legal and you can find it on the war thunder live official website, with instructions on how to enable it. I don't know if it got updated with the EF-2000 engine sounds yet but other than that you'll have working sound for everything in the game.

I will try to work on my explanations some more as i find myself running out of time to describe everything. My decisions are not made out of thin air, or even for just the reasons i can give on tape. they are based on a lot of experience that is hard to put into words.

Solid vid man, this is one of my favorite American planes to fly and for good reason. The L Lightning feels criminal at 4.7 with an airspawn

@ I don't know about tricolor. the new years wingsmoke was only available for the holidays back in the day, and i got it back then. However, you CAN get it in the loot crates for SL. I've spent roughly 85 million SL on the crates and got the smoke four times. So do the math and decide if it's worth it for you.

Throttle down was not a mistake that what you supposed to do in sim has not to roll your plane over from torque. So yea Air rb home the 19g turns and negative rudder rolls.

Well, this wasn't sim. It was RB. The mode that I play over sim, because it's easier to get into, while still maintaining a facade of realism, with funny planes that go pew. Throttling down was absolutely the wrong call from the spitfire in that situation. All he had to do was pull onto my six after he overshot, and his position was so good that it wouldn't matter what dodges I used. I was boned. And he threw it. I want to make it clear that he threw it, because he really did have me there, and without his bad call, I would have died.

The J and L p38s are constantly underrated by enemies. I have never flown a plane that so many people consistently try to climb into / merge with less energy.

exactly. i think most p38 players never get anything done with it due to the large size + low rip speed + J being obnoxious to aim with. So no one expects to die to one by the time you reach 4.7 BR.

It's because I want to make it clear that you CAN stop experienced players from going for the carry if you're playing on the opposing side. You need to stick tight with your team and stack as many advantages as possible. Going in 1 by 1 only plays into his hands, even if you're flying a superior aircraft in a superior position.

@ nah, it is ok. the game allows it. you can do it…and it is not op. i do not like it, because it is like an unrealistic advantage and only people who got that snow smoke can really do it. that is a bit unfair…

How do you shoot only your fifties when you have both your mg and cnn selected?

You can bind small-calibre and large-calibre guns to different buttons. I have my small caliber on 1, and large caliber on 2. This allows me to fire my .50 and 20mm independently. Of course it would be even better if you had mouse buttons, but my mouse probably dates back to 2012 so I don't have that luxury right now.

I believe it is underrated because in my community of pilots no one is willing to give it a go. its always big excuses like 'i cant aim it' or 'you're so huge and easy to hit'. But after i convinced my friends to fly it they all started popping off so I think the plane is genuinely, legitimately underrated and not in a clickbait way. Plus, you see a lot of P-38Js flying 4.7 america lobbies, but hardly any of the Ls. Anyway, thanks for the comment! I appreciate it.

why do you have your alt set in feet and your speed in km/h

I set things to the most precise unit available. 1 kmh is a smaller unit of measurement than 1 mph. 1 ft is a smaller unit than 1 meter. 1 Fahrenheit is a smaller unit than 1 Celsius. And for distance, the same. 1km is smaller than 1 mile. The exception is when they get in closer than 1 mile, but I personally find 1.01 km easier to read than say 1050 yards.
