I played Deus Ex: Mankind Divided in 2024

This game had so much content, missions and story cut for final release, the game was literally cut in half and released unfinished. The prison dlc was originally part of the story for instance, and the ending was literally the scene from two thirds of the way through the original story. Square enix really messed this one up with the usual corporate greed....

Totally agree, it can never surpass the journey that is the original Deus Ex, but damn it nails the gameplay and level design. The second visit in Prague is the only game that catches perfectly the feeling of cold autumn night.

Funny how much hate this game got back in 2016 for microtransactions and being "rushed/unfinished". It's a literal fucking masterpiece by 2024 standards. Both a commentary on how harsh people were back then but also about how gaming has gone downhill in general terms.

Actually, when using your experimental augs, you don't lose your regular ones forever. There's a mission where you get a nice AiO cooler that lets you use all your augs at once without overheating ;-). It's given to you around the time your XP augs are discovered.

Cyberpunk is completely fixed and it's a finished product. This game went over budget and they stopped halfway through and release to anyhow. It got tons of hate for being an unfinished product and didn't so well, because of that the second half of the game got canceled. What you're saying makes absolutely no sense lol. It doesn't matter if this game goes on sale for a dollar, it's not worth only playing half of the game.

Story is shit, sound average at best... EVERYTHING IS FUCKING YELLOW.. WHY? boss fights in general are uninteresting and none more so than this game.. all in all it IS NOT a great game. Level design isn't bad and stealth mechanic works okay. It tried living up to what the original Deus Ex was when it released but fell WAY short. Also campaign is completed in a few hours...
