I Played Echo for 10 HOURS to see IF she is the HARDEST Hero

For those who don’t understand, echo is considered to have the highest skill CEILING for a few reasons. 1) She’s projectile, which is considered harder than hitscan. 2) Her flight. It adds extra layers of movement you have to get good at if you want to master her. 3) She’s very cooldown reliant. You’re not a soldier or sojourn who can just run people down until you have to reload[+ur stickies are also projectiles with a seperate speed than your gun] 4) Your ult[and arguably the biggest factor]. Since you can copy any hero, you have to know how to play every hero. That’s Genji movement, Queen combos, Lucio wall rides etc.

Honestly every Echo player I’ve seen are actually great. It’s not hard to cycle abilities to win, especially when you realize how to play Doomfist lol

@@ulqcife rebind her buttons bro, I’m on PlayStation and use Echo and Lucio for both characters I have L3 for jump so I can wall ride as Lucio while still having full movement and aim control and I can control flight as echo while still having full movement and aim control dude do it it’ll change yr life

I think people just say she’s hard because of her ult (because you potentially need to know how to play all the heroes if you want to transform into any of them) but realistically there’s a good majority of heroes not worth transforming into and it winds up more often than not that it’s best to just turn into the enemy tank. Her actual kit is really strong even without the ult if you can learn to consistently land your sticky grenades. Hit all of them and then shift to her beam and you can almost instantly delete a 200hp hero lol. She’s one of the few damage heroes I really clicked with right from the get go. She’s got a pretty low skill floor and a REALLY high skill ceiling like Sombra or Mercy imo (easy to pickup and hard to get max value with)

I already solved that problem because I can't play most of the cast, so I rarely duplicate anyway unless by pure chance they're playing a character I like. I go entire games without more than a single duplicate, but that's probably not a good thing lol.

People who say she is are usually always low ranked, she isn’t usually optimal for any rank in general though. She’s not bad, there’s just better tanks.

She had skill in OW1 and was one of my top played and favourite dps but in OW2 with the change in speed and 1 less tank to guard you her difficulty definitely jumped high. Give her more time and she'll get better and better as people adjust

I watched some of the best echo players, and I honestly gotta say I could never do some of the stuff they're doing. I think most people missed out on her assassin potential and mostly play frontline with her, which is applicable for some flankers with no falloff, but that's not really why they're hard. There is really no "hard to get into" heroes in overwatch (in my opinion), only "hard to reach their maximum potential".

Echo is somewhat easy. Her burst ability is hard carry potential too. Once you get good at landing all the stickies and hitting your shots you can easily destroy enemy dps especially the annoying ass snipers. Think of it as like Mccree. He lands one shot then sticks his grenade to you. It's similar with echo. If you shoot your target twice and then land stickies they're done for. If you really want to secure the kill her beam has pretty good range and absolutely melts half health targets. So either primary fire and stickies or stickies and beam. Both work good but beam has faster kill time. Echo easily my favorite dps to play at the moment.

Playing all the nice candy wrapper characters. Try it with sombra after they've taken your candy and only left you with a wrapper. See how far you go. Not going to ask you to put any money on the table so no expectation minimums. But I bet you will struggle af to do anything with her and get to see how hated she is not by just the enemy team but your own team. Good luck not getting reported for throwing.

@@CrazyScorpioo Lately, I've been practicing 15-30 minutes a day with an aim trainer on Sombra. Its made a drastic difference for me in normal QP games. I intend to keep practicing. The aim trainer I'm using increases game speed per kill but not refire rate. Objective being kill a target in the allotted time. So far my best speed increase has been 175% game speed with Sombra. With S76 I'm at about 210% game speed. I feel the practice has made me more confident going against certain characters where before I was a lot more timid even mentally intimidated by those characters. Now I just trust that my practice and consistency is there, and it frees my mind to think of other ways to harass an enemy team as Sombra. As a result of this aim trainer my damage done on Sombra per game has almost doubled. To the point I'm beating out other DPS characters in overall damage.
