...Kinda crazy that Luigi's Mansion is the one series on this list that actually went on to become more of a series, right up to the modern day. Loved the game from the start myself, part of why I brought a GameCube, but~ it was this crazy strange experiment even by Nintendo standards for the longest time.

I mean... Super Monkey Ball, Sonic Adventure 2, Crazy Taxi, Extreme G 3, and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 were either already well-established franchises, or were the beginning of a now established franchise. Crazy Taxi would go on to have 2 sequels from the time, a few mobile games, and most recently a new Crazy Taxi game in the works, revealed last December. Super Monkey Ball has of course gotten multiple games, usually one per console, even if some have been pretty bad leading up to the recent releases of both Banana Mania and Banana Rumble, it's still a fully-fledged franchise. Extreme G 3 and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3, well, were the third entries in both franchises. Sonic, I don't even have to explain that one, you know what Sonic is, clearly that had existed long before Adventure 2, and has continued to exist long after.

Rogue Squadron 3 was definitely pretty disappointing, but I'll never forget the mission where you play as Wedge who's A-wing goes down over Geonosis and it awakens a bunch of sleeping Battle Droids and you have to fight your way to an abandoned Episode II Jedi Starfighter to escape. It was the coolest thing I'd ever seen in a Star Wars game because it was a classic era Star Wars character interacting with elements from the prequels and it was the first time I'd ever seen something like that outside of unlockable non-canon characters and such.

Wow! I learned something new today: Being from Argentina, of course Football soccer (or FÚTBOL) is crazy popular here, so every kid that had a PS1 or PS2 had a Winning Eleven game (official or not). Since those games were all in japanese, I thought that the localized version of them were the International Superstar Soccer games, which later become Pro Evolution Soccer. But NO! The launch of the Gamecube in the USA and Europe somewhat mirrors that of the Sega Saturn... you had the American side of the company trying to advise on what US consumers will buy and being completely overruled by the Japanese side. I VAUGLY remember those commercials I think one time I was at a target with my family and there was this GameCube display that whispers “GameCube…” I do have a lot of comic books and a jimmy neutron movie magazine that feature ads of either people (or pikmin) in a cube and their campaign’s slogan is “Born to play” (Gives off strong DEATH METAL album cover vibes especially the teaser ads!) Interesting look, to me like 3DS a bunch of cool not just wow it has to be Smash, Mario, etc. Are they great sure but I also don't care different then the same characters or IPs something different then comfort and easy for audiences to jump on board with because audiences are simple. Pikmin a week later for sure on not just Smash, Wave Race is great, Rogue Squadron is worth it, Monkey Ball for sure and Luigi's Mansion was different why not oh it's not Sunshine/generic Mario game insert here sure, others a surprise. Shallow what dude oh has to have a mainstream game to look good since when would people even care in comparison at all. Bomberman R doesn't look better against BOTW on Switch does it to make a random comparison? XD Wii Sports/Twilight Princess yet how many other games people ignore at Wii launch that I think are fair of COD, GT Pro Series (oh it gets praise on GBA but they can't do different on console talk about nonsense). If Monkey Ball had other modes and it's party game like and not those modes in 2 then that's pretty good, Wave Race multiplayer as well for a few hours besides GameCube demo disks or finding secrets or others in other games. Or oh wow not buying the other launch games, sure money but appeal that's different. Burnout 1 is fair. 2 is better, and yes yes 3+ are better but for 1&2 GameCube got were fair I enjoy 2 still besides the more up there of 3 & Revenge content. Extreme G yes please. Ah Cel Damage/Crazy Taxi. What a time. Ah Bloofy Roar..... Sure...... Transformations sure pretty cool. 10hrd is great for back then why so critical what because 100+ hours these days or 20-30. Not everything was a JRPG length back then 10+ hours was good back then. People and length for value when presentation/content was different back then. Besides I don't want filler or garbage inflated lengths. It takes me a few days to beat a 10+ hour game not because of difficulty either ans not just play a bit then move on/break from it either, anyway oh it has to be more then 24+ hours does it, some people. Sigh. Ah ghr Going Qwackers/Qwack Attack Crash clone ok game. It's fair. OST is good too. Mainstream games aren't always the best I can tell because I play for mechanics not for presentation/characters I don't care about. Just because mainstream games have boring appeal for everyone that others don't but are more exciting. Easy dislike on this one. Mainstream ones are overrated and not always that exciting. They tried an arcade port I mean Ridge Racer sure because the early ones didn't have that much content but Moneyball has enough content. Tank Tank Tank is a bit repetitive but I still enjoy it on Wii U. Monkey Ball how can it be shallow next to a boring mainstream title? What a load of nonsense. Same with Pilot Wings on 3DS besides some others and Street Fighter 4 can't be that forgettable can it? Something different than the same easy to pick up games for a character. At least 3D Land was different but still people buy for characters/worlds not for level design or power ups or things. So to me each Mario universe character getting their own games (besides Waluigi or others yes, but many of them do anyway) but different is great so I have a reason to play them because they all play/do different things.

The GC was the console that 100% pushed me off nintendo for good. Like most american kids in the 80s and 90s I was a nintendo kid. Had and played way too much nes and snes. N64 came out and I got it instead of a ps1. I HATED that console. A few hard hitters (not the ones most people point to IMO) but overall it was a dud to ME. GC comes out and I still got a bit of love for nintendo so I get a GC but also the other consoles of the gen and I didn't like it. Even less games I like on it than n64. I haven't had anything nintendo since.
