I Played EVERY Spongebob Game On Nintendo Switch

A couple months ago I was inside my local Walmart and I saw a copy of Nickelodeon Kart Racers Collection for the Switch, which includes all 3 racing games. Unfortunately much like some recent compilations on Switch its just a code in a box. For $29.96 I guess its not too bad of a deal, but honestly I'd rather they just put the game or at the very least the license for all 3 games on the cartridge.

The frame rate is honestly really not that important whatsoever. It is important for those massive AAA games but for SpongeBob games and most similar games like platformers its really not important if you ask me. The switch gets way too much hate for all of those stuff but you have to remember that the switch makes up for its weaker performance with portability and also the much bigger and greater ammount of exclusives. Overall tho this video was really fun to watch

I love Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3: Slime Speedway, and Spongebob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake. I have them on PS4 instead of Switch. I still can't get over how youtuber Penguinz0 said that Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3: Slime Speedway is one of the worst games in 2022. When I watched him play the game, he was playing the game badly. It's okay to dislike the game, but calling it one of the worst games of 2022 is a reach and very delusional to me. Tbh, it just feels like most gamers seem to have a giant hate boner for other kart racing games. They basically think all of them are trash and that the Mario Kart series is only good.

Actually when I got the Battle of the Bikini bottom remake it was the first time I played a Spongebob game that's about an old game I never got a chance to play. I think the graphics are good and I enjoyed playing the game and got the nostalgia of the show but the game is hard and a little frustrating because of the robots and the king jellyfish it took me a long time to beat him. Also the game was the only Spongebob game I played I didn't play the others.

A lot of the frame rate issues and long loading times are definitely for previous gen consoles only. Works well on Steam, PS5, and Series X, but is kind of a mess on Switch, PS4, and One and such

I think the texture pop in BFBB and Cosmic shake should be a bit excused since it happens in all versions of the game, even the PC version (Of BFBB) which i have does it

I own nickalodeon kart racer 1 in witch someone gave it to me as a cristmas present as i liked spongebob and as for the game Its pants or in shorter terms its trash i spent all my time playing smash ultimate the other game i got witch is still one of my favorete games. So it's fair enough to complain that Switch versions of games are downgraded, but for me it's pretty misleading to blame it on "the weak hardware". Nintendo's first-party games run as smooth as butter on the console. When third-party games run badly that's because the guys doing the porting half-assed it.

Not to excuse the poor third-party ports, but I don't think it is entirely fair to dismiss the weak hardware. Nintendo has advantages to third-party developers which often include more money, more resources, and the benefit of getting to focus development on a single system. It's not always an issue of poor effort, but simply a lack of resources or time. That's why the best third-party ports are often the ones that are made separately from other versions by dedicated porting studios such as Saber Ineractive for The Witcher 3 or Panic Button for Doom. When the hardware is so underpowered compared to other systems in the market, it needs dedicated work to make it run well, something that not all third-party developers can allocate properly.

All of those cash grab Kart Racing games are janky, and BFBB feels dated because the original is literally over 21 years old, but nothing was wrong with that game. The technology was just right at that time to make a good SB game.
