Congrats on a great year! Looking forward to the next one as the game continues to evolve with new sets. Strong theme decks should start to become super fun.

@@bryanklitzke9723 thank you! I've been looking forward to having 8 or more sets, that just seems like it would be the sweet spot for fantastic themed decks

No tournaments in my area so I play with family. But playing to 20 looks like going through 1/5 of your deck then game over. I usually play to 40 lore and you can get some good combos and actually get through some of your deck. Otherwise whoever quest first usually wins by turn 5-6.

You can combat those aggro strategies with some control decks. I almost always get to about 20 or less cards in my decks when I'm not playing aggro or midrange - though midrange I usually get though 30 to 35 cards before the game ends. You aren't meant to actually go through the entire deck. And yes, going first is certainly an advantage, but I've won many games going second and I've lost many games going first, so it's not really that big of a deal.

If you watch more old videos - count how many times he strokes his goatee (he could not keep his hands off of it).

@@gordonkane9608 I had to start putting beard oil in it to keep my hands off it haha

And no sooner than posting my comment, Winter talked about his beard touching complaints. I was definitely Team 'Quit Touching Your Face!'

The trick is to set up combos and counter attack to not let them lore that quickly. What I dont like about Lorcana is how favored the person going first is. They need to find a way to remedy this

Going first is really that problematic. Aggro decks certainly get a big bonus from it, but I've won many, many games going second, and lost many games going first. It's way more about identifying what you're playing against, and mulliganing properly for the things you need to combat your opponent.
