It really is a fun deck to play and not awful to play against. Pretty much every other OTK deck has an absurdly long combo you have to sit through. At least when Mikanko OTKs you, it's quick. I hate sitting through decks like Dragon Link that the majority of current players couldn't even have played before they extended the timer in MD.

I Nibiru'd my opponent's board and they passed on just Boss Stage. My top deck was Crossout, so I used Crossout to call Boss Stage and they insta-scooped.

Well the reason they don’t ban maxx c is probably because master duel is a global software, and one of the main differences between OCG and TCG theory is maxx c and they probably don’t want OCG players to be put off by having such a ginormous theory shakeup, alongside having to learn about TCG exclusive stuff like the kaijus. Not saying it’s a good reason (since you could make the same argument about TCG players who joined after maxx c’s ban having to learn how to play around it), but if I had to guess, that’s probably their logic

Small World on any fire warrior -> ash -> Ohime is real. Sending Mayowashidori and Water Rondo with Isolde to summon from deck is real. Small World for any fire warrior -> ash -> Dogoran is real. Ohime can equip the infernoble arms you send off Isolde TO YOUR GUYS TO GET THEIR SEARCH/RECOVERY EFFECTS THAT TURN. She can also quick effect snatch steal on your opponent's turn WHICH ACTIVATES CHARLEMAGNE'S EFFECT TO POP WHEN SOMETHING IS EQUIPPED TO A MONSTER. I assure you it's quite a bit of fun...

Mikanko is a nightmare for dinomorphia player to handle and ultimate counter to them as ferret flame have no effect with due 0 att stat. So, their have to play storming mirror force which useless for other deck.

@@FortuneKOF dinomorphia really struggles against any deck that deals damage in roundabout ways, such as reflecting battle damage or attacking directly. The deck has lots of counter traps and things that it can use to counter strategies like this, but a lot of that can be hand dependent. It's the payoff of their high risk high reward playstyle, because their life points are so low any little bit of damage can win. I will also say that some of this has to do with the build of dinomorphia, I personally sacrifice some things so that I can play a small evolution pill engine to bring out ultimate conductor tyranno in order to counter decks like this, but in doing so I have to sacrifice some of the non-engine traps or hand traps.

@@sabnarose rexterm floodgate effect is not like skill drain. But it more like majesty fiend like effect prevent opponent to active any monster effect on the field. Rexterm cannot negate lingering effect / passive effect like 5 material expurrely Noir that have effect uneffected by opponent activation effect and also any tower like effect.

I've played against these things exactly once. I had never seen them before and I was using Cyber Dragons. I thought I was being smart when I left Cyber Dragon Hertz on the field and was like "Fine, attack it. 80 turn clock" Then he Kaijued it. I eventually won. I managed to get Chimeratech Rampage Dragon out and pop all his equip spells, then attack for game. That replay got saved.

​@@DxShadow7if you're forced to go first by another mikanko player and you have ohime in your starting hand, you just setup mikanko rivalry, set it and pass with no monsters on field. Pray to every God personally for your opponent not to have double edged sword and a line to mayowashidori already. If they don't, they'll usually pass on an open field. Then you just setup ohime with another mikanko on field and mayowashidori to do the open field otk using the rivalry

I have never had an interesting game vs mikanko. Either you have the out and the mikanko player gets absolutely steamrolled, or you don't have a way to interact with their untargetable, undestroyable creatures and backrow so you get steamrolled. The theory behind them is cool, but in practice, just an incredibly frustrating archetype.

This game is garbage, I just had three games today and all three games they went through half their decks on the first turn and won turn two hasn't even started yet. They absolutely ruined this game. They're catering to noobs and the unintelligent. This game has no creativity anymore. You can summon a thousands cards on turn one. This game use to be amazing but they made it lazy and garbage. It's more for pre-schoolers now.

For every match with someone whose memorized a 50 piece combo, theres a match where someone pops off for nearky the whole turn and messes up one play, instantly surrendering. Its good background noise if you play minimal interrupts :3
