@@HazeEmry Yeah. In Two Man Cell Battle, Marauding Captain, Blazing Inpachi and Gagagigo are in a three way battle. Marauding Captain takes a hit to save Gagagigo in My Body as a Shield, which is what turns Gagagigo around on the Captain. The two go on to fight many battles together alongside great warriors like Freed the Matchless General, such as against the Invader of Darkness as seen in cards like Absolute End, Spirit Barrier and Unified Front. Eventually Gagagigo gets defeated in battle and Kozaky, who's secretly a Dark World infiltrator, uses the Level Conversion Lab's Dark World technology to rebuild him into Giga Gagagigo, whose soul collapses and he becomes Gogiga Gagagigo. But eventually, Marauding Captain is able to get through to him by reminding him of his Memory of an Adversary and their Oath of Companionship, and he's brought back to sanity as Gagagigo the Risen. Kozaky was probably the one who rebuilt Charcoal Inpachi into Woodborg Inpachi, since Woodborg also uses Dark World technology.

Gen 1: Original tribes + Worm invasion. Ends with a dragon measuring contest between Ice Barrier and Dragunity. Twice, somehow. Gen 2: Worm-based corruption turns into the Iswarm and revives the corpses of the fallen from the first cycle, the descendants of the first tribes + some new faces fight it off. It ends with two kids killing God. Gen 3: The corrupted Gem-Knight cores from the first and second cycle evolve into the Shaddoll, also reviving a bunch of monsters + killing and reviving some current ones. Turns out Naturia Sacred Tree was where the Evil God lived. It ends with a cat going Super Sayan 3 against Jewish Kabbalah.

So a bit of meta lore with the S-Force. The S-Force are like an interdimensional police that apprehends criminals across space and time. As it turns out, said criminals all have this motif of blinking themselves out of the field. Psy-Frame perform quick synchro summons, I.P. links summons herself out, Redoer just banishes himself temporarily. As it ALSO turns out, a majority of the S-Force effects counter these kind of decks. Gravatino perma banishes them, orfist pops them as they attempt to blink out. The aesthetic that they went with is actually pretty well done in building a shared but loose lore between their nemesis and them

I thought the generaider and Runick lore was that the generaiders are the dungeons and bosses of an RPG and the Runick cards show the nameless protagonist’s view. This is shown through the quick play spell artwork featuring a first person view of what look like many JRPG moments and fights, such as Tip halving a skill tree being opened.

Not a JRPG. It's a WRPG, like Skyrim; most JRPGs do not have First Person Nameless Protagonist, it's also a mesh of MMO as the Generaiders are in fact Raid Bosses. Basically, Runick Spells are all abilities and situations you would always see in these games, Runick Allure of course being the connection between the two archetypes, as Loptr (Another name for Loki) is the final antagonist as Laevatein, which considering Lae is holding the sigil of the Generaiders (which represents the Nine Realms), seems to imply that Loptr has stolen the power of all the other Bosses, likely with your help, as you beat them for him. Runick Allure is likely the start of the "Campaign" or an important plot point. Considering Loptr is giving you that Gem, it is likely Loptr is giving you the means to empower yourself, to do his dirty work. Runick Allure in Japanese "Rūn no Taburakashi" is much more important than the english name, as Taburakashi can be translated as "Deception". Not only does that allude to Loki, but also, Gylfaginning, which is the first part of the Prose Edda, the Rise and Fall of the AEsir. In Japanese, the story is called "Gyuruvi Taburakashi", the Deception of Gylfi. The Fountain is a Save Point, the Runick monsters are various supporting NPCs, most of the spells are actual abilities you would see in a game, yadda yadda. Also, another connection, it is hard to see, but you can see the characters from Runick Dispelling in the background of "Generaider Boss Fight", which really puts the bosses into scale.

Duel Terminal and Gagagigo lore is so good. Gagagigos lore is really heartwarming and with his redemtion arc i love it and Duel Terminal has very much an interesting storyling, although a confusing on. But the thing I love the most about it is the subtle card design that went into duel terminal cards. E.g. Evilswarm was wrecking Gem-Knight, because they all are Lv5 or higher, so they made Gem-Knight Pearl who is a Rank 4 so not affected by Ophion who has 50 more attack than it. (2600vs2550)

You will need to look up the Dai grepher lore (unironically) if you want to know exactly what happens. you have light grepher, dark blade, Ryu senshin all of which are different possibilities. Dark grepher is another timeline grepher that he finds while in the vault of power of the guardians (basically randomly from what I can tell), long story short dark grepher dies fighting a common foe with dai and dai is left without a weapon, and depending what weapon he chooses from the vault will corrupt him in different ways, one of which is the sakaretsu armor that results in dark lucius

I like the Witchcrafter lore, which is another part of the spellcaster-verse. They all use magic to craft things and they're all very specialised, but they collaborate to make things they couldn't do alone. Also Servant of Endymion is there. I think she retired from working with Endymion to become Witchcrafter Genni instead, which is probably what I'd do in her situation tbh. Genni even has a spell counter icon in her card art.

Witchcrafter art is wonderful, it's my favorite deck! And yes, you're right, Genni leaves Endymion to join the Witchcrafters! There are so many great little touches, too: Witchcrafter Scroll is revealed to be on Genni's desk in her card art. I would love to see them get more support in the future, alongside Magistus and the rest of the spellcaster-verse. We still don't know why Verre left with Haine in charge or what's going on with Aleister after breaking out of the Spellbook Tower. Maybe Verre is going to join Endymion again to beat him?

I hope S-force have more cards to make them playable and become a central of YGO next Sci-fi lore. . I believe Evil Twin is in the same world as S-Force too. They're thieves and their evil arts remind me of I:P art style. . I want to see more stories about S-force and Magistus lore. They're very interesting. . I personally like the duel terminal lore. It encompasses SO MANY archetypes, and really makes that series of cards feel like a living world, with a lot of history. So many big bad evil things sealed away all over the place. A lot of it is also just normal shit you'd find in reality. Like terf wars. I believe the mist valley cards fight the gustos for control of the gorge that I believe is also dragon ravine. I'm probably misremembering a lot of it, though. And then the worms show up from fucking outer space, and ally of justice has to take them down, with help from the genex, but in the process they unleash the evilswam virus, which it turns out is what the ice barrier was protecting, and so they have to awaken all these legendary ice creatures to help the constellars fight the evilswarms, BUT all the ice barrier dragons (along with most of the constellars) get corrupted by the evilsawarm virus, so now they're stronger than ever, and so the constellars create the yang zings to help with the fight, but it's not enough, and so I believe deng long is sent to contact the satellarknights, and with there help, they finally take out the evilswarms. But during the fight, they destroyed the base of the naturia world tree, which was the prison for shaddoll core, and we're right back where we started. Shaddoll corrupting everything and taking over, and we need to do something. But it's worse this time, because the shaddolls aren't just mindless beasts like the evilswarms were. They have a goal, and they know exactly how to achieve it. That goal was destroying the rest of the naturia world tree, which it turns out is the prison for the qliphorts, which themselves are mechanical vehicles powered by the imprisoned infernoids. So the infernoids get released, because thats what happens when el shaddoll shekinaga gets destroyed. (Because shekinaga is just apoqliphort towers with construct on top.) And I genuinely don't know where it goes from there. I don't know how they end up beating the infernoids.

You forgot that Steelswarms came first. The Gishki released them in the Mist Valley, and that caused the Vylon to stop playing their game of Jenga and beat up the cockroach demons. THEN the Evilswarm Virus happens due to the lingering resentment of the Steelswarms invading the minds of the living. Furthermore, the Shadoll were the possessed bodies of the dead, heralded by the hero of the previous war, Gem Knight Crystal, in the form of Cairngorgon. Also, the Infernoids summon Tierra, but all the Zefra shit happens, and I'm pretty sure we still had Sophia's Power on the Clans' side.

Id say best way to do a duel terminal story would probably be from the perspective of the charmers. It could start out hunky dory and then shit gets dark. Possibly around when D’arc shows up. It’s easy to forget that the light and dark charmers are wearing shackles and one of the charmer’s tribe was brought to the brink of extinction and her sister got turned into a puppet zombie.

They're not super heavy on lore, but the small references are really neat, such as Sonic Meister being overtaken in Dead Heat and using the same trick to get back in front in Downforce, Locker Room showing that the U.A.s have an equivalent to Auto Navigator that presumably provides match analysis and Man Of The Match announcing racing to be next on the program. And speaking of Man Of The Match, it also includes my favorite factoid about U.A.s: Player Manager doesn't just play with the others, he apparently *bodies them* and clutches out a win. My man is doing double duty and still the best on the pitch.

My favorite lore be the Charmers/Familiar-Possessed cards if only had solid lore. The cards' art are really evocative of their personalities and potential dynamics, but we don't know much about them other than them training in a school of some sort. You could legitimately write a charming and fun story even with what little we've been given, but Konami just doesn't for some reason. Also side not, I've come to suspect that Eria's familiar isn't meant to be the same Gigobyte from the Gagagigo lore. Like, none of the spell or traps that are clearly part of Gagagigo's story actually have Eria on them, which can't be said of any other creature that is involved in the story. They only ever show up together when it's a Charmer/Familiar-Possessed card. I wish they'd be a bit clearer on whether this is actually the case.

I think Eria just got retconned, or maybe becoming Eria’s familiar is one of his alternate timelines. On the other hand, Charmer lore ties into Gusto and Shaddoll and is therefore Duel Terminal.

So it’s very low key in comparison to the others but I love the lore for the Six Sam’s and Legendary Six Sam Cards While it’s not a “story” there is a line of progression. From the OG Six and there support to the Legendary. Each of the original support monsters. (like grandmaster, hand, spirit) are old “retired” versions of the legendary Six Samurai. Who have passed there titles and in theory trained the new generation. Nothing is explicitly told to us it’s all implied threw details like the Armour in the background of “Hand of the six samurai” being the armour worn by “Mizuho”

So Geri, Freki, Munin and Hugin are familiars of Odin, or rather Harr since Generaiders uses one of his older names. Someone explained in another comment I read before (I think it was actually another MBT video) that the Runick cards show the first person perspective of someone playing a video game where the familiars are all helper NPCs and the Generaider Bosses are actually bosses of that video game, which is why Loptr, or Loki, is in Runick Allure making a deal with the player. Not sure how true this is, but sounds cool, either way the Runick monsters are all tied to Harr via their relation in Norse mythology.

Runicks and Generaiders are connected because they're both meant to be first-person action-adventure video game references. Runicks are the spells and abilities being used from the perspective of the player, and the Generaiders are the enemies and bosses of the game. My personal favorite lores though have to be for two of my favorite archetypes: Exosisters and Madolche Exosisters are a group of young girls in a post-apocalyptic world that explore and look for survivors in the day, then using the power of their special infinity holy water, transform into mighty warriors at night to fight off the forces of darkness/chaos to protect what little remains of their world. Martha is the older mentor teaching the original 4 main deck girls how to use their tools, weapons, and powers; Pax shows them getting ready to set off at dusk for patrol; Vadis shows them getting ready to transform to fight a demon that appears; Arment shows their transformation using the infinity holy water; and Carpedivem shows them sealing the defeated demon. Madolche are exactly as their name suggests - "Madolche" being a portmanteu of Magi (a Japanese shortening of magical), doll, and dolce (Italian word for desert). So they're a bunch of children's dolls that a child is playing medieval kingdom with, pretending to be Puddingcess, and using to decorate deserts she (or her parents?) bakes. Madolche Nights shows the child asleep, having put the dolls away in her toy box, and Petingcessoeur is the child having a new little sister to play with. Konami has made at least 3 supermassive lore sets: Fallen of Albaz, World Legacy, and now Visas Starfrost. And I like all three. Oh yea, and I guess the Duel Terminal Qliphort/Zefra/Shaddoll lore.

Warrior of Zera also has some kind of connection to Zera the Mant, possibly he can summon it using his sword. And Warrior Dai Grepher has a split timeline, as seen in The Paths of Destiny - he only gets corrupted and becomes Dark Lucius on one path. DD Warrior Lady creates the Different Dimension Ground to banish him into the Different Dimension, where he encounters his alternate timeline self Knight Day Grepher, then a Dimensional Inversion occurs and a regular version of Grepher pops back out in Unexpected Dai, who immediately tries to seduce DDWL in Dai Dance.

I'm a bit confused over Outstanding Dog Marron's lore; how did he get lost, in the first place? Why did he turn evil, and how did he die? The coolest thing about Duel Terminal lore are the team-ups. That's how we got the likes of Lavalval Chain, Daigusto Emeral, and Gem-Knight Seraphinite. Also, speaking of Duel Terminal has anyone ever thought about how Malefic might be the prototype version of Shaddoll and Nekroz (and maybe even Metaphys)? Correct me if I'm wrong but Malefic might be the very first archetype to be composed of some sort of alternate versions of cards from various archetypes. (You could argue that Evil HERO preceded Malefic but Evil HERO only had alternate versions of cards from a single archetype, not multiple.)

I genuinely want to know what the heck they're doing with Darl Magician lore. Realistically that plotline wrapped up over 10 years ago when Duel Monsters ended but that only focused on Dark Magician and Dark Magician lore. What about all the other cards like Breaker, Dark Valkyrie, whatever the heck is going on with Chaos and how it all fits together with Taemius, Gaia and various other dragons. I tend to like the lore that's either about just a random lvl 1 from 2002 or ones that aren't a part of an archetype specifically, but more like a collection of cards based on themed effects. Stuff like the Solemn lore, Sangan's journey, Dark Ruler's negate-CBT or stuff like characters like Uni-Zombie or Zombie Master being separate parts of the Skull Servant cinematic universe. Yeah, World Legacy and Albaz were fine and all, but nothing to me beats the comedy of these random throwaways getting the limelight in small stories printed over time. It'd be like if MTG in their new set printed the Wood Elemental redemption-arc after having cannibalized the forest around him for power.

I want to say Magikey is my favorite Lore deck and my Pet deck, it's just my favorite in everything and every summon. Clavkiys having the tools to discover new worlds, where some of them are deadly, others are somewhat peaceful and he's overcoming all of them, even going through transformations and finding out that his allied gun has a physical form and they both fight a massive lion that somewhat people though it was Evil Eye related because of the symbol in Vepartu's artwork is just peak for me. We may think Ashtartu was Clavkiys' Final Form, though we had a Non-Magikey Trap Card that's just Vepartu riding a big blue-red bird and I want to see it being printed in an actual Magikey support.
