Would love to know what everyone thinks of the longer format? Would you prefer this in a 10-20 min or like this?

Shorter ones are a lot more viewer friendly. Although, it is good to have a longer video every once in a while. EG this one has a lot of content, it needs longer format. But most people wouldnt watch a long video like this every day.
@vanrosseyon Жыл бұрын
I think the tips and tricks should stay at about 10 minutes, that is long enough, except maybe for GoFest/GoTour video's. Adventure video's for me should be around 20-30 minutes, otherwise split them in 2 or maybe 3, if needed. (to keep us excited 😉)
@ivpry Жыл бұрын
the longer ones are much more fun to watch imo

My favorite use of Adventure incense was walking to a park 15 minutes from where I live, starting at 11:45pm, and popping the next day's incense for the walk back. Doing that every other day was an awesome routine.

3 of my friends and I ride our bikes and grind pokemonGo at night about 2-3 times per week. We usually start around 10 ish and stay out until 2, sometimes 3 am so i definitely relate to how you were feeling, peace/calmness and excitement all mixed in one. I would recommend the biking experience! You can explore way more and adds much more excitement. Great video!

Fun adventure! I have similar thoughts about playing at night: It is quiet and peaceful, but you could also run into some sketchy characters. "Stay Alert, Stay Safe" Adventure week was the right time to do this challenge. I played that event more than any other since returning to the game. I ended up with 6 shiny Aerodactyl, and a few others, but the shiny Tyrunt I was hunting eluded me. Looking forward to your next adventure!

I completely agree that the night grinds are so nice, personally they are my favorite. This was so much fun to watch, I swear Adventure week was super shiny boosted but also I grinded more than usual, so I think it’s DEFINITELY hard work, but a bit of luck helps!

Going for a full twenty four hour challenge sounds so brutal. I certainly couldn't pull that off. Doing it during Adventure Week was a good choice. I couldn't find either Shiny Tyrunt or Amaura during the event, but I did get a couple of Shiny Lilliep and one Shiny Aerodactyl, so I was pretty happy with that. I hope that you were able to get some rest after this challenge so that you weren't still wiped out for Go Fest.

As a free-to-play gamer without a car, I used to walk 10km a day playing PoGO. I got 1 shiny a day on average, and was usually able to get the new shiny during the release events. After years of doing this I've given myself tendonitis in my arms, as well as my legs and can now barely participate in the game. You can work hard an succeed in PoGo, but you're sacrificing something somewhere for that success. Whether it's you time, your money, your information, or your body, you are paying to play PoGo. Congratulations on you 42km day! This challenge was incredibly impressive overall. You made a very smart move icing your feet after that walk.

Typically don't watch videos this long, but the pacing and content was good enough for me to watch it (over 2 sittings). Adventure week was definitely stupid good this time round, so you picked a great time to do the challenge. My concern would be your health (and safety a couple of times); would've preferred if someone else drove you during the night/kept you company throughout the day.

@lazerbeam134 Жыл бұрын
I mean its an anecdote, so it isn't hard evidence, but I got a shiny sitting on my couch at home more than once. If you want a lot of shinies you have to grind for them, but if you don't grind particularly hard just sheer luck and probability should give you at least some shinies tbh. Especially since shiny rates are a lot better in Pokemon Go than in any of the main series games.

I'm doing okay, and I don't think it's fair to say that success is either luck or hard work. I'm the recipient of both lucky and unlucky circumstances (like everyone) and I've found it's the product of the two that lead to success. This frame also helps in a number of ways. If you think we live in a just universe and hard work is all it takes, then the only cause of failure is from a moral or personal deficiency. Rejecting that premise, then you can have compassion for those who haven't succeeded (including yourself, since we aren't killing it every second of every day) and have a degree of humility that you ought to be grateful for what you have. If you reject that it isn't 100% luck, then you can be proud of what you've accomplished and be inspired to continue to work harder. Solid content man, keep it up!

First, this was a fun watch, didn't mind the length as it was well edited. Enjoyed it. As for night PoGo, one of the best parts of my previous job in Kansas as a weekend morning Meteorologist for a TV station was getting in some midnight-2am grinding. I would take certain routes based on how much time I had to play and those were some of my favorite grinding sessions. I kinda miss it, although not having to go in between 2a-4a is not something I miss haha
