Well, turf war is a lot more casual than ranked, so I imagine a lot of turf war players not really caring about the meta and just playing whatever they want to.

@@icyflame716 octo weapons aren't in Splatoon 3 and there's only one hero weapon in 3. Also those technically don't count cause they're just skins. You could've mentioned the Splatershot Jr. though.

Casual nova tip: all run speed. Never swim. The weapon is built around having a continuous low spread so just stack that, hold zr, and run around like a weak splatling that never has to charge.

Even though I don’t think you could boost your chances of seeing H3 or L3 with this method picking weapon classes you have weapons missing in and then playing X rank would be a way to give a better chance of being matched with those weapons due to its matchmaking system

wait im like pretty sure depending what weapon you choose the game tries to match you with other different weapons. I play tent and i do not encounter that many other tent or brella player all that often it does happen but not a lot. Either way i think using different weapons/and or constantly getting into new lobbies might make this easier. i do feel like i heard that matchmaking is curated to some extent when it can and it would surprise me if the weapon choice would effect that

I feel like when I play stringer I run into stringers a lot. I've had games with 2-3 stringers in it. I really don't understand why this happens.

I dont know if anyone already said it, but there is a spike bot on almost every splatoon server which u can use for many different things like generating a random weapon. If u ever make a challenge like this again I would consider using this bot. Also I would have tried to search for weapons in ranked mode because some are more comman in these moces

Give me the Nova, I'll show you its the best turf wars weapon ever :) I am a support player, I will teamwork with any random with the Nova and we will win. I have an insane win rate with Nova in turf lol. Possibly my highest freshness I have. Rules of the Nova: you never jump shoot ever, you are a support player go support your teammates any time, if you 1v1 always keep your distance enough, always point sensor, Killer Wail especially when in a 1v1, you do the shooter painting technique with the up and downs, amazing ink maintenance so you're able to provide point sensors and painting at all times, you have amazing range and movement go take advantage of that, you assert dominance and don't play too passive either. ....I am noticing I needed to play turf wars while you were doing this challenge because I do play Ballpoint and Rapid Blaster and H-3 Nozzlenoses from time to time lol.

You know I never counted the amount of guns in game even though I have them all lol. My ocd completionist brain wants to 100% things in games I like whether they have achievements/trophies or not more of a personal trophy for me if they don't have em. I'm around 15 cards shy of all tableturf cards have every weapon bought so far thankfully my brain isn't forcing this onto salmon run. I don't have enough time to worry about getting 100% of the gear/items it offers but i love the mode nonetheless. its my main source of farming chunks since i have like 10ish different gear set each specialized in one thing or multiple things like a jack of all trades and those chunks are needed since every now and again ill swap some subs out to try new things

It’s a new feature KZbin just added, if someone in the video says to subscribe, the button will light up! It picks it up from the video though, so saying it out loud won’t work. Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching :)

Meaning all 8 snipers won't be on the same team so maybe you using the brella effectively "filled up" the brella quota for the match
