I "love" how the guy they chose to represent the mage class is that god awful ALO villain. (The old guy that captured Asuna and Kirito beat in a street fight on a parking lot.) If he's playable, no one is off-limit, and that's kind of encouraging. (Although Asuna or a Sleeping Knight would have made more sense in his place.)

For the first time, an SAO game actually got me interested… I’ll keep an eye on this one. Hope it delivers. Though truthfully speaking, what I’ve always wanted in an SAO game isn’t just a combat like this but to explore the world too be it alone or multiplayer. Maybe something like this but combined with something similar to the world and exploration of FFXIV, we can start with a slow build up even. Every big update is another “floor”/expansion and you have to finish the main quest or boss to have the next floor accessible, in exploration you get to meet small enemies in their habitat and in the main story you get to meet the casts too here and there even fight alongside them with your custom character. Make it an else world or an era after the events of SAO. Have classes for more variety in gameplay etc. Though it’s a high budget request and it’s not a guarantee success even if they do it but I hope we get something like that one day.

Fatal Bullet was actually good , with character creation even. Funny enough that game was made by the same devs of this one . This devs SAO games are only Fatal Bullet and this one

I've been going back to Fatal Bullet for some time now because of how good it was, specially the Kagemitsu Animation, which is weird that I love the Sword Animations in a Shooting Game. Now I'm glad Dimps actually is behind this but I'm holding back because it seems that most of the good stuff are locked online. I was willing to get this on day 1 but it seems that Offline Mode only has Story Mode. I just hope it has all the Online Modes be replaced with CPU in Offline and with some PVPs also playable with CPUs.

If that succeeds, then maybe Japan will look into the VR market more. If it flops... well then...

Everything up to fatal bullet was a godsend, fatal bullet being the best and lost song next. Lycoris and last recollection are embarrassments, like the idea they had going was great but poorly executed.

I hate Kirito, that's why the only "good....ish" SAO game is fatal bullet. I hope there's a create your character and a "story/gameplay" surrounding your OC, and not focus on Kirito even if you change his appearance. Like the gameplay though, now just imagine this with fully explorable-ish environment like a real MMORPG.

I hate SAO. My first ever "major" job getting footage for someone was SAO, and i never hated a game more in my life than gabbing that B-roll. It wasn't fun. I tried this and...i picked it up right away. It's gonna have some issues. For instance, it's hit the 3 bar jackpot - full price game, with a cash shop, and a season pass - but in truth, i don't plan on spending more than what i want to myself, so i didn't have a issue. If you do dislike that, just be warned, but the gameplay itself is REALLY fun. The beta has what seems like a rare boss too. Ive seen 2 bosses during the raid battle. One was a mantis made of blades, the other was a giant skull thing. But yea. :) REAL fun.

It's hilarious to see how the AI glitches when two try to Rez a downed character. They both drop the rez expecting the other to continue it, then walk away before walking back because the other also dropped it. Rinse repeat until the fallen character dies instead of being rezzed lmao
