Visit Workington for Uppies and Downies next year. A similar game but most of the town not just one street. Uppies get the ball to the castle, downies get it down the harbour. Takes place 3 times a year around Easter.

You should go to the Ashbourne Shrovetide it’s been played since about 1667 much bigger and better. The goals are 3 miles apart and in the river, and is 8 hrs a day over 2 days
