I Prescribe... Delicious Food! | Project Hospital - Part 33 (Hospital Simulator Game)

Project Hospital continues and we use some of our newly acquired piles of cash to build quite a few things, including a splendid new staff cafeteria! It's got lots of tables, many food options (including tasty sandwiches!), many drink options and, of course, plants! Lovely plants. Also it seems to be very popular which is excellent news.
Elsewhere around the hospital we just spruce things up a bit. We replace a few beds here, add a bathroom there, that sort of thing. Whilst it's not a spectacular use of our cash, it does seem to be sensible.
Plans are made to get a brand new department up and running, the exciting sounding Internal Medicine Department, and of course because it's me planning there's quite a bit of dithering about.
There is a bit of a sad moment when we turn to the The Wheel of Names and discover that the website isn't working properly but alternative naming arrangements are made!
Also we pay back a tiny bit of our loan, we consider making some more operating lounges and we notice that the floor in General Surgery is fantastically disgusting...

Tutorial levels will guide your through the basics of treating patients and running hospitals.
Sandbox mode offers endless hours of content, building anything from small clinics to huge multi-storey hospitals, starting from scratch or in one of pre-built hospitals or clinics in case you want to jump straight into management. Run you own ambulance service and help handle events and emergencies.
The campaign will put you in the shoes of a crisis manager trying to save a few hospitals in critical state.
6 challenge levels will test your skills and let you focus on the intricate details of individual specialized departments.

I think the main reason your event failed on the last video was a shortage of surgical. If you remember, most of the people you had in that event spent most of their time awaiting surgery. You might like to get more surgery in before the next big event.

This is true but from what people are saying, the next event might be in infectious diseases, or in the emergency department, or perhaps again in traumatology, so it's difficult to know where to deploy resources! Also I need the wheel of names back up and running before we hire more people, we can't have folks missing out!

you took the bed sockets from general sugery so you need to put them on the walls again as well, you need the operation teams ready to go for events. so you might want to double your surgery teams and rooms

I love that everything it turning around for the hospital. I think you might want to give Penge the Dusty Rivers training regimen. It also might be worth adding a third pharmacist during the day to train the regular ones in efficiency and then fire them at the end. Efficiency in the lab would help too.

Would you be able to move the pathology department close to departments where death is more likely to happen like emergency, infectious diseases and traumatology because it makes more sense for it to be closer to them plus that way dead bodies don't have to be moved throughout the main reception/waiting room part of the hospital. Also, the staff wouldn't have to eat right next to the cold body cupboard. 🤣

Moving departments is a bit of a pain really, people are assigned to machines and desks and it would just be a bit fiddly. There's a big wall between the morgue and the cafeteria, it's not like everyone can see it!

The hospital is looking great, although I'm not sure I'd be able to eat in a cafeteria located between infectious diseases and the morgue, lol. However, your staff is made of sterner stuff than I and seem to absolutely love their new dining area, lol. One thing I've often wondered...is there an undo button for when you make mistakes so you don't lose money by just redoing the walls, etc?

I can be in the wheel of names. You can read the current actin under their name on the patient card to help you determine if they need more nurses and doctors or more beds. The admin department's colour is not orange, that's medical labs'. You can use the indicator on the top left of all rooms to determine its workload other than the number of people currently waiting. Leaving a bit more room for a second diagnostic unit and special procedures unit could be a good idea

Another great video, shame about the Wheel of Names, in my expirence when a site goes abit wonkerloydes it is due to the site being updated and it requires the broswer cache to the flushed try this if it is still not working.
