It’s so amazing when people can’t believe that you’re American speaking their native tongue. Or that people recognize you as a KZbinr ❤️❤️ you and Matt are amazing..

I have no idea how I found you since I've never had the slightest interest in learning Chinese, but this was actually pretty interesting. I will subscribe now.

How many brothers do you have? Did the whole family go to China for that year you lived in Beijing? I stumbled across your channel and have been binge watching for about two weeks. You have me interested in learning Chinese, even though I am 63. I am retired and at home all the time, so the virus hasn’t made any difference in my life, except for being more connected to my family. I have six sisters, and they all want to do group things on line, we have been doing hour sessions every few days. NYC must be so different. I watch you and your friends getting takeout, and you speaking perfect Chinese, and related dialects. LOVE IT! The looks on the faces when you speak makes me laugh! You make their day! Wish I could go to China and submerse myself in the culture for a year or two like you did. Did you know all the Americans that you take with you to eat from school or does the language bring you together? I could keep this up all day, but would bore you to tears! So long! From: Roger in Pierre South Dakota.

I dream of the day I become conversational with Japanese. These videos seeing people do it just makes me want to get to that stage more. I only started studying about a month back so I have a very long way to go but I hope to get there in time

I could watch an hour straight of people being delighted to meet someone who has given them so much joy and inspiration. Hope to bump into you in a VR chat some day myself -- I'll be the Hindi-speaking guy with the Boston accent, should be pretty easy to spot.

Jeez, can you actually speak Fuzhounese? I still can't speak Fuzhounese at all even though I have lived there for over 20 years... That was impressive.

Xiaoma, there is a setting in VR chat that allows you to get close to avatars without them disappearing. I just noticed you keep moving away from everyone because of that. cheers!
