You're allowed to be depressed about things that are outside of your control. You're not allowed to be depressed about things within your control. If you don't like yourself, fix it. To sit there and say you can't fix it is dead wrong. Don't get it twisted, again, you CAN totally be depressed about things outside of your control because there is no hope in a situation you can't do anything about if you don't like the situation. For example; I hate humanity. I can't stand the nature of humans. Most people disgust me. It's depressing to think about the world and what we do to destroy it, destroy nature, and destroy each other. But I love myself because I'm not like that and I stand up for what I believe in. I can control that. The goal here isn't to sound ignorant of others feelings, but it gets tricky when you hear people talking about how depressed they are. It's easy to keep saying it's okay, I understand, you can be depressed, etc. It's a lot harder to tell someone to get their shit together about things they CAN control. If you knew me you'd know how empathetic I really am and that's exactly why I refuse to coddle people who are depressed about crap they just don't want to fix. There are a small group of people who naturally have very off levels of hormones/chemical imbalance. So if that's you I truly feel for you. But most people are depressed because this world isn't designed for us humans in 2021. We didn't evolve with what we see around us and our bodies/brains can't keep up with it. All you can do is power through and handle the things you can control. If you can do that, at least be happy with who you are, even if you want to tell the rest of the world to fuck off.

I'm not fine, you're not fine but youre not alone but until we break the chains and come out of our box we must endure hell at least till either you give in to the voice wanting to end the pain or you try to find your purpose. The darkness of the void is always inviting but the sweet symphony is only a dream we can not have.
