oh my god I'm obsessed with this edit. okay I'm going to rant about their relationship now because why not. i feel like sam is a really complex character and some people don't understand his perspective growing up (feeling alienated from his father and brother, constant fights, his brother siding with his father every time, having dreams and watching the two most important people in this life stomp on them and ridicule him for it since he was a little kid...) like, dean and sam loved each other to death but their father pushed them against each other and created an environment that made it impossible for them to understand the other's point of view. the whole "we don't talk about feelings" mentality john forced into them aggravated the problem. so yeah, dean and sam failed each other and hurt each other. but that's how siblings are! and I think it's amazing to see them growing up and slowly understanding the other's position both past and present, and healing their wounds anyways I get how some people think dean loved sam way more than sam loved dean but once you stop and think about sam's life and how he is as a person you realize he loved dean more than anyone else. he looked up to him, he imitated him growing up, he felt dean was the one who raised him not john. he gave up everything for him, his dreams, everything. like for the love of god when dean was dragged to hell sam went around desperately begging demons to take him to hell in exchange for dean coming back and I'm not even going to talk about how much dean loved sam because that's a fact we all agree on lmao :') sorry for this random big ass comment I've just been thinking about this a lot these last few days and this video just lightened something in my brain lol

Ouchhhh that ending. "It'll all be better when you wake up." 😭😭😭 Poor Sam. Poor Dean. I really appreciate you adding that conversation with Ruby in bc I think people forget that the reason he did a lot of the fucked up things he did was to save Dean. Also reminds me of when he was fighting to escape/remember his hell memories and the tortured aspect of himself asks why this matters so much to him and he says "You know me. You know why. I'm not leaving my brother alone out there."
