Agreed, about the AJ video quality, he’s across the country for me so I probably won’t ever be able to do his academy but I e been a huge fan for years always rooting for him in super cross and love how much effort he puts into the next generation. His talent as a trainer is underrated and one day don’t be surprised to see him training for a factory team go team AJ!!🤘🏼🙏🏼💪🏼

My question is, how realistic or maybe how typical is that track surface. It looks so forgiving, whoever prepped that track was going to the lumber mill and getting wood grindings alot the week before that intro.

So this is one of those perfectly groomed American MX tracks, they always talk about on the gypsie podcast! That dirt looks like it's straight from heaven.

This is just a local amateur track here in Oregon. About 45-hour drive from Washougal MX. It's a hard pack clay base with a bark lome mix top soil, and gets blue groved really easy.

How good do you have to be to know when to clean the lens. Lol. Im almost good enough to take a foot or hand off, sometimes accidentally good enough to take a hand or foot off. Lol. Sure is fun watching good riders.

So I used to ride a 2014 kx450 but I'm thinking about going down to a 250 because I know I'm not riding it to anywhere near the potential it has. I am a bigger guy though, what do you think?

A 450 is so much easier to ride and less twitchy...unless you just wanna work hard at the track to go the same speed.. if you want to race stick with a 450 and maybe a husky or yamaha with a smooth, tractable power..
